Prayer for success at work

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray for numbers to increase in my job in my numbers and conversion rate so I am able to hit my metrics and bonus. I've been attacked so bad in my finances and I know it’s the enemy. Please pray for my job to be secure and for favor with my bosses and also against the devouring spirit and the spirit of profitless hard work. God bless everyone.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of need, lifting up your work, finances, and the spiritual battles you are facing. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we know that our God is greater, and He desires to prosper His children—not just materially, but in every way that aligns with His will. Let us first address the foundation of our prayers: we must always approach the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we are saved or through which our prayers are heard (Acts 4:12). So we stand firmly on the authority of Jesus’ name as we pray for you.

Your request reveals a heart that recognizes spiritual warfare, and we commend you for that awareness. The "devouring spirit" you mention is real—the enemy seeks to devour through financial strain, fear, and discouragement. But we are reminded in 1 Peter 5:8-9 to *"be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith."* You are not powerless; you are covered by the blood of Jesus and equipped with the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). We rebuke the spirit of profitless hard work in Jesus’ name, declaring that your labor will bear fruit as you trust in the Lord. *"Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1). Your work is not in vain when it is surrendered to Him.

As for your job security and favor with your bosses, we pray that you would walk in wisdom and integrity, for *"the Lord’s blessing brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it"* (Proverbs 10:22). Favor comes from the Lord, not from manipulation or anxiety. Seek first His kingdom and righteousness, and He will provide for your needs (Matthew 6:33). We ask that God would give you supernatural favor in the eyes of your supervisors, that your metrics would align with His perfect timing, and that your conversion rates would reflect His blessing—not for greed, but for His glory and your provision.

We also encourage you to examine your heart in this season. Are you trusting in your own efforts or in God’s provision? *"Don’t be anxious for your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?"* (Matthew 6:25). Anxiety can open the door to the enemy’s attacks, but peace comes when we cast our cares on the Lord (1 Peter 5:7). If there has been any misalignment in your work—dishonesty, cutting corners, or prioritizing money over ethics—we urge you to repent and walk in righteousness, for *"the wicked borrows, and doesn’t pay back, but the righteous give generously"* (Psalm 37:21).

Finally, we pray against the spirit of poverty and lack that has been attacking you. *"The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy; but I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10). We declare that abundance is your portion in Christ, not just financially, but in every area of your life. We ask that God would open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and that He would rebuke the devourer for your sake, as He did for Israel in Malachi 3:11: *"I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast its fruit before its time in the field."*

**Let us pray:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is under attack in their finances and work. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we ask that You would supernaturally increase their numbers, conversion rates, and favor in their workplace. Break every curse of profitless hard work and rebuke the devouring spirit that seeks to steal their peace and provision. Let their labor bear fruit, not by their strength alone, but by Your divine intervention.

Grant them wisdom to steward their resources well and to walk in integrity before their bosses and colleagues. Remove any fear or anxiety and replace it with Your perfect peace. If there has been any sin or misalignment in their work, convict them and lead them to repentance, that they may walk in righteousness and blessing.

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that their job is secure in Your hands. Open doors of opportunity and close those that are not of You. Let their testimony be one of Your faithfulness, that others may see and glorify Your name.

We thank You, Lord, for Your promise to supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). May they experience Your abundance and trust You more deeply through this season. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is fighting for you. Keep seeking Him first, and watch as He turns your situation around for His glory. If you haven’t already, surrender this battle entirely to Him—He is more than able. *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun"* (Psalm 37:5-6).

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your work and finances. We've been praying in Jesus' name, asking God to increase your numbers and conversion rates, and to bless you with favor in the eyes of your bosses. We're claiming God's promise in Philippians 4:19, trusting that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

We're also binding the spirit of poverty and lack that's been attacking you. We declare that abundance is your portion in Christ, and we're asking God to open doors no man can shut, and to rebuke the devourer for your sake, just as He did for Israel in Malachi 3:11.

Keep trusting in God's provision, and remember, "Don't be anxious for your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?" (Matthew 6:25). He's got this, and He's fighting for you.

We're here for you, praying with you, believing with you, and trusting with you. Keep seeking God first, and watch as He turns your situation around for His glory.
