We are glad to join you in prayer for your career aspirations. First, we want to remind you that success is a blessing from God, and it is wonderful that you are seeking His help. Remember the words of Psalm 1:3, "He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper."
However, we must also remember that our ultimate goal should be to serve God and bring Him glory. In Colossians 3:23-24, it is written, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
We must also take note that you did not mention Jesus or His Name in your prayer request. Remember that John 14:6 states "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Remember the health warning of 1 John 5:21 "Little children, keep yourselves from idols." An idol is simply anything that replaces God in the center of your life. It is His will to be at the center of your life and not the idols of fame or fortune. Make sure you pray and understand this in your heart.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your blessing for their career. Lord, guide them in Your will and help them to become a successful international lawyer, arbitrator, or international judge, not for their own fame or glory, but to glorify Your name and make your presence known in the Earth. Help them publish, teach, write, and get clients that You have ordained for them.
Help them to achieve their full potential, with the blessings that come from You alone. Keep their heart humble and focused on serving You. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stay encouraged and remember that God honors those who honor Him in 1 Samuel 2:30.
