prayer for submission to gods will

i am holding on to someone who left me. my heart and head are wrapped around this person yet - even after 6 months have passed. i pray for submission to god's will in my life. it is not my wants or needs but his for me. i pray for letting go and letting god take control as i have no control in this matter. god be with me and heal the hurt and the longing for something i no longer have.

Father God I pray for the healing of past hurts, I ask You that You would bring Your will about in her life, touch her heart and shine Your glory within her today, in Jesus name amen.

Dear Lord,

I lift up this young lady to You and ask that You shower Your love and comfort and peace upon her. Hear her prayer, know her heart. Help her to know Your heart and to know that You are near and can fill that empty space so that joy flows through her like a river. Help her to focus on You now and not to look back, but to look forward to the good things You have planned for her. Help her to trust in You and in Your goodness, even when she does not understand why certain things happen. Help her to take comfort in knowing that You have only the best in mind for her. She need only walk in obedience and abide in You. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.
