prayer for struggles

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up these burdens before Him, knowing that He hears the cries of His children. Father, we first acknowledge that all provision comes from You—every job, every opportunity, and every open door is by Your hand. We pray for these family members seeking government positions, asking that You would open the right doors at the right time according to Your perfect will. May they be placed where they can serve with integrity and be a light for Your glory, sharing Your goodness with those they encounter. For the one awaiting a temporary position, we ask for Your provision even now, trusting that You see their need and will sustain them until the permanent opportunity comes. Lord, we declare that Your timing is perfect, even when it feels delayed to us. Strengthen their faith as they wait, and let them not grow weary in doing good.

Father, we also lift up the desire for a godly spouse for this family member. We pray for a man of integrity, a doctor who walks in Your ways, with a heart after You, free from the entanglements of sin. May he be a man who loves You above all else, with habits that honor You and a character that reflects Christ. We ask that You would bring them together in Your timing, in a way that glorifies You and strengthens the faith of both. Lord, guard their hearts against impatience or compromise, and let them trust in Your plan for their future.

Now, Lord, we come to the matter of the house lease and the injustice that has been done. We are grieved by the deceit and broken trust, and we ask for Your intervention. Father, You are a God of justice, and we know that You hate dishonesty and oppression. We pray that You would move upon the heart of this person to return what is owed—every penny, with the interest and charges that are rightfully due. Lord, we do not ask for vengeance, but we do ask for justice. Soften their heart, convict them of their wrongdoing, and lead them to repentance. If they refuse, we trust that You will deal with them in Your way and in Your time, for You are the righteous Judge.

We must address the anger and bitterness in this request, for it reveals a heart wrestling with deep pain. Scripture tells us in Romans 12:19, *"Dearly beloved, don’t seek revenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* The desire for severe punishment—physical or material—does not align with the heart of Christ, who calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven. Yes, the wrong done is great, but we are not to curse or wish harm upon our enemies. Instead, we are to pray for them, that they might come to repentance. In Matthew 5:44, Jesus says, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* This is not easy, Lord, but we ask for Your grace to release this burden into Your hands, trusting that You will bring justice in a way that honors You.

We also must address the doubt and frustration expressed toward You, Father. The questions—*"Is God alive? Is God faithful? Is God powerless?"*—reveal a heart struggling to trust in Your goodness. But we know, Lord, that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. You are not slow concerning Your promises, as some count slowness, but You are patient, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). The delays we experience are not because You are inactive, but because Your ways are higher than ours, and Your timing is perfect. We confess that our understanding is limited, and we ask for renewed faith to trust in You, even when we cannot see Your hand at work.

Father, we also lift up the health of this family. Strengthen their bodies, minds, and spirits. Provide for their needs as they seek to buy a home, and bless the work of their hands as they desire to open clinics and serve others. May their lives be a testimony to Your goodness, and may they be a blessing to the poor and needy, pointing them to You.

Lord, we know that without You, we can do nothing. We ask for Your mercy and grace to cover every area of their lives. Restore their hope, renew their strength, and let them see Your hand at work. May they find peace in You, even in the midst of waiting, and may their faith be strengthened as they see Your faithfulness unfold.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who is our Advocate, our Redeemer, and our Just Judge. Amen.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

I've been reading through the prayer requests and I'm moved to respond with a word of encouragement and faith. Here's what's on my heart:

1. **God is alive and active:** While it may seem like God is silent or inactive, remember that God is always at work behind the scenes. He sees all the injustice and wrongdoings, and He will bring justice in His own time. Trust in His perfect timing (Psalm 139:1-4).

2. **God is faithful and just:** Even when we don't see immediate justice, God is faithful to His promises. He will bring justice to those who oppress and mistreat others. Trust in His faithfulness (Exodus 34:6-7).

3. **God is merciful:** God is a God of second chances. He desires that the wicked person would repent and turn to Him. If they do, God will show mercy and forgiveness. However, if they refuse to repent, God will bring justice in His own way (Ezekiel 18:21-23).

4. **God is in control:** God is not powerless. He is in control of all situations. He can bring justice to the wicked, but He also desires that the righteous would trust in His goodness and mercy. Trust in His sovereignty (Psalm 147:1-5).

5. **God is working in the family's lives:** God is not distant or unconcerned. He is actively working in the family's lives, providing for their needs, guiding their steps, and directing their paths. Trust in His providence (Matthew 6:25-33).

6. **Pray with faith:** Brothers and sisters, let's continue to pray for this family. Let's pray with faith, believing that God will answer according to His will. Let's also pray for ourselves, that we would not grow weary in doing good, but instead, find our strength renewed daily (Galatians 6:9).

Let's stand together in faith, trusting in God's goodness and mercy, even when we don't see immediate answers or justice. God is faithful, and He will bring justice in His own time.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We continue to lift your family’s needs before the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing the weight of the burdens you carry. Your trust in God’s provision for stable, honorable work for your loved ones is not in vain—we stand with you in faith, believing He will open doors that no man can shut, positioning them to share His glory in their professions. We also join you in praying for a godly spouse for your family member, asking the Lord to bring forth a man after His own heart, one whose life reflects the fruit of the Spirit and whose hands will labor for the Kingdom.

The injustice you have endured at the hands of deceit has grieved us deeply, and we have cried out to God on your behalf, asking Him to move swiftly to restore what was taken and to bring conviction to the hearts of those who have wronged you. The Lord sees every lie, every broken promise, and every sleepless night this situation has caused you. We pray He will act in power, not only to return what is rightfully yours with interest but also to soften hardened hearts so that repentance may follow. Though the wait has been long, we trust in His perfect timing and His perfect justice. We ask Him to intervene in ways that will leave no doubt of His hand at work, that His name may be glorified even in this trial.

We also lift your family’s physical and emotional well-being, praying for peace to guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. The stress of financial strain and relational tension is real, but we believe God will sustain you and provide opportunities to secure a home of your own, as well as the means to establish clinics and ministries that will impact lives for His Kingdom. May He give you wisdom in every decision and favor in every endeavor.

Above all, we pray that your faith would remain steadfast, even when answers seem delayed. The Lord is not slow in keeping His promises, but He is patient, not wanting anyone to perish. We ask Him to renew your strength daily and remind you of His unfailing love. If any of these requests have been answered, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report so we may rejoice with you. If the wait continues, we will not grow weary in praying with you. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
