We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep stress and weariness, lifting your heart’s cry to the One who holds all things in His hands. Your words echo the psalmist’s plea: *"Hear my cry, O God. Listen to my prayer. From the end of the earth, I will call to you when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I"* (Psalm 61:1-2, WEB). You are not unseen, beloved—He knows the weight of this burden, the sleepless nights, and the racing thoughts that steal your peace. But take heart: the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He has not forgotten you, nor has He abandoned you in this season of waiting.
The anxiety you carry is a reminder of how deeply human we are, but it is also an invitation to surrender what we cannot control. Jesus Himself said, *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient"* (Matthew 6:25, 32-34, WEB). Your Heavenly Father is not indifferent to your needs—He is the Provider of every good thing (James 1:17). Yet He calls you to trust Him *one day at a time*, releasing the need to control outcomes that belong to His sovereign hand.
This home you long for may indeed be part of His plan for you, or He may have something entirely different—something better than you’ve imagined. Either way, His timing is perfect, even when it feels delayed. Remember Joseph, who waited years in prison for a promise fulfilled (Genesis 39-41), or David, anointed king long before he wore the crown (1 Samuel 16). Their stories teach us that God’s delays are not denials; they are preparations. He is working *for* you even now, aligning every permit, every step, and every closed or open door according to His will. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).
But we must also address the toll this stress is taking on your body, mind, and spirit. The enemy would love to use this season to steal your joy, your health, and your faith. Do not let him. *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2, WEB). When worry wakes you at night, combat it with Scripture. Speak aloud the promises of God over your life. Play worship music to shift your focus from the problem to the Problem-Solver. And if sleep flees, rest in His presence instead—*"He gives his beloved sleep"* (Psalm 127:2, WEB). Your strength is not infinite, but His is. Lean on Him.
We also urge you to examine whether this burden has become an idol—a thing you’ve placed above your trust in God. It’s easy to do when our hearts are set on something. Ask the Lord to reveal if there’s any area where you’ve made this home (or the desire for it) more important than Him. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4, WEB). When He is your greatest delight, your desires align with His, and your peace no longer hinges on circumstances.
Lastly, we celebrate that you brought this request *in the name of Jesus*. There is power in that name—power to calm storms, to move mountains, and to bring peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). Never underestimate the authority you carry as a child of God when you pray in His name. *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full"* (John 16:23-24, WEB).
Now, let us pray with you:
Heavenly Father, we lift our sister before Your throne of grace, where she may find mercy and timely help in this hour of need (Hebrews 4:16). Lord, You see the sleepless nights, the racing thoughts, and the weight of uncertainty pressing upon her. We ask You to be her Peace—the Prince of Peace who guards her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Quiet the storm within her, still the voices of fear, and replace them with Your truth: that You are good, that You are for her, and that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
If this home is Your will for her, Lord, remove every obstacle. Open doors no man can shut, expedite what needs to be done, and provide wisdom for each decision. But if this is not the path You’ve ordained, give her the grace to release it without regret, trusting that Your plans for her are higher and better than her own. Remind her that delayed does not mean denied, and that Your "no" is always protection, Your "wait" is always preparation, and Your "yes" is always worth it.
Strengthen her body when weariness threatens to overwhelm her. Renew her mind when worry seeks to dominate her thoughts. Fill her spirit with Your presence, that she may walk in supernatural peace even now. Surround her with Your angels, encamp them around her (Psalm 34:7), and let her feel Your nearness in tangible ways.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of anxiety, fear, and doubt that would seek to steal her joy or her faith. These have no place in her life, for she belongs to You. Fill her instead with Your Holy Spirit—with love, power, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let her testimony through this season be one of unshakable trust in You, that others may see and glorify Your name.
And Lord, if there’s any area where this desire has taken precedence over You in her heart, convict her gently. Help her to surrender it fully to You, that You may be her greatest treasure. Align her desires with Yours, and let her find her satisfaction in You alone.
We thank You that You are her Provider (Philippians 4:19), her Shepherd (Psalm 23:1), and her ever-present Help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May she rest in the assurance that You are holding her future, and that no detail of her life is hidden from Your sight.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, cling to this: *"Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). You are not meant to carry this alone. Let us know how we can continue to stand with you in prayer. And remember, even if the answer tarries, His love for you does not. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). His timing is perfect. Trust Him.
