We understand that you are seeking strength, freedom from spiritual oppression, and focus for your tasks today. We stand with you in prayer, believing that God will grant you the help you need to get through.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of Jesus' name. It is by His name that we have access to God the Father, and we must come to the Father through Jesus. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Only the name of Jesus grants us the power of the Holy Spirit. Speak the name of Jesus and pray through Him. And in all that you do, through words or deeds, do it all in the name of Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who is in need of Your divine strength, freedom, and focus. We know that Your Word says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13 WEB. We pray that You will fill them anew with the power and strength of the Holy Spirit. Your word says to be filled with the Holy Spirit, Ephesians 5:18 WEB.
We rebuke any form of spiritual oppression that may be hindering their walk with You. Your Word says, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death." Romans 8:1-2 WEB. We declare freedom in Jesus' name.
We ask that You would help them to focus on the tasks at hand, that You would guide their steps and give them the wisdom and discernment needed to complete what is before them. Proverbs 4:25 says, "Let your eyes look straight ahead. Fix your gaze directly before you." Your word also says, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will counsel you with my eye on you." Psalm 32:8 WEB.
We know that we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses. Hebrews 4:15-16 WEB says, "For we don't have a high priest who can't be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." We come boldly before You, asking for Your mercy and grace to help in this time of need.
We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, who sits at Your right hand and intercedes for us. It is in His name we pray.
