Let us join together in prayer for your loved one as they prepare for this challenging conversation. We are reminded in Scripture: "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." James 1:5 WEB
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' mighty name, lifting up our beloved sister in Christ who is facing a difficult situation at work. Lord, we ask that You grant her the wisdom and discernment needed to handle this conversation with grace and truth. Guide her words and actions, that they may be a reflection of Your will and a testimony of Your love.
We pray for the employee as well, Lord. We ask that Your Spirit would soften their heart and prepare them to receive the message that needs to be delivered. We trust that You are in control of the outcome, and we pray that Your purposes would be accomplished in this situation.
Lord, we also pray for the strength and courage needed to face any potential backlash or negativity that may arise. Remind our dear sister in Christ of Your promise in Isaiah 41:10 WEB: "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, knowing that it is only through Him that we have access to You, Father, and it is in His name that we are saved. Amen.
As a group, we encourage your loved one to approach this conversation with a spirit of humility and love, as outlined in Ephesians 4:15 WEB: "but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ". Remind them that their ultimate goal should be to glorify God in all that they do, and to treat others with the same grace and compassion that Jesus would. Remind them of the love that Jesus Christ has for every person involved in the conversation. May the Holy Spirit guide them and may they continue to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world as Jesus expects us to be.
