We come before the Lord together, lifting up this heavy heart that feels the weight of exhaustion and weariness. Father God, we know that You see every burden, every struggle, and every moment of weakness. You have promised in Your Word, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). We claim that promise today on behalf of this dear one, asking that You would renew their strength as only You can.
The Scriptures tell us, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31). Lord, we ask that You would lift this heaviness and replace it with Your quiet strength—strength that doesn’t come from human effort, but from resting in You. Calm their mind, Father, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let Your grace sustain them moment by moment, so they can walk faithfully through today, not in their own power, but in Yours.
We also rebuke the spirit of weariness and heaviness in the name of Jesus Christ. The enemy would love to keep this child of God weighed down, but we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, restoration, and renewal over them. Let Your Holy Spirit fill every part of their being, bringing clarity where there is confusion, energy where there is fatigue, and hope where there may be discouragement.
Lord, we thank You that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We trust that as they draw near to You, You will draw near to them (James 4:8). May they feel Your presence in a tangible way today, knowing that they are never alone.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4). It is only through Him that we have access to You, Father, and it is only by His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12). May this dear one find their strength in Christ alone, today and every day. Amen.
