We stand with you in this request, lifting you up before the Lord, for we know that the battle we face is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. It is only through the power of Jesus Christ that we find true strength and freedom, for He has already triumphed over every power of darkness. The Scripture reminds us in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, *"The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."* And in John 8:36, Jesus declares, *"If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."*
Yet we must also ask—do you know this freedom in Christ? Your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the authority to stand against the enemy. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for *"there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). True freedom begins with repentance and faith in Him, for *"if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).
If you are already in Christ, then we encourage you to stand firm in His victory. Put on the whole armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18), resist the devil with the Word of God, and he *will* flee from you (James 4:7). Do not give place to fear, doubt, or sin, for these are entry points for oppression. Instead, fill your mind with Scripture, worship, and prayer, for *"where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty"* (2 Corinthians 3:17).
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who seeks strength and freedom from spiritual oppression. Lord, You are the God who breaks chains and sets the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). We ask that You would expose every scheme of the enemy in their life and demolish every stronghold that exalts itself against Your truth. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, renewing their mind and guarding their heart with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Strengthen them, Lord, in their inner being through Your Spirit, that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). Let them walk in the authority You have given them as a child of God, boldly resisting the devil and standing firm in Your Word. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, if there is any unconfessed sin, any area where they have given the enemy a foothold, convict them by Your Spirit and lead them to repentance. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and restore them to fullness of joy in Your presence. Let them experience the freedom that comes from walking in obedience to You, for *"blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him"* (James 1:12).
We declare over them the truth of Your Word: *"The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1). May they live each day in the confidence of Your love, guided by Your wisdom, and protected by Your mighty hand.
We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has already won the victory. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture, especially the Psalms and the letters of Paul, which are filled with prayers for strength and deliverance. Fast and pray regularly, seeking God’s face with humility. And if you do not yet know Jesus as your Savior, we implore you to turn to Him today—He alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). If you’d like guidance on how to surrender to Christ, we are here to help. Stand firm, beloved, for the Lord is with you!
