Prayer for strength and comfort after ###’s suicide

My adult son struggled with mental illness and substance abuse for years. He was often suicidal. We received word 3 days ago that he had passed away and because of a phone call I had from him the night before his death I know that it was a mental health and drug induced crisis that ended up causing him to choose to take his life. Now my husband and I are heartbroken and devastated. Please pray for ### and the rest of our family. I have never experienced anything like this physical mental and emotional pain. We need strength, guidance, and comfort from the Lord. Thank you.

Father our ABBA Father the only one who understands these and many parents have gone or are going through help to grieve as they are learning to lean on you! Surround them with your ministering angels! The God that hears our out cries! No one knows how painful it is! But God! And help all who are struggling mentally physically and emotionally spiritually with evil demonic thoughts! May Christ comfort you doing this time! So glad you reached out I still remember losing my ### it was a drug overdose it’s so painful especially when they are young and have so much potential and just don’t understand! God sees you!

I am so sorry, I will pray for you. My brother committed suicide because he had a terminal illness. Very hard! The Lord sees you and His arms are reaching out to you. Painful and emotional indeed. Cry and don't apologize when you do. You will cry a lot, but you need to.
