Prayer for Strength and Breakthrough

Title: Please pray that God gives me the strength to face each day and brings breakthrough from the spiritual oppression I’m going through. I’m trusting in His help and mercy.

We are glad to join you in prayer for strength and breakthrough. WEB First, let us address the power of Jesus name. We are only able to approach God the Father because Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins. But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name: WEB Because Jesus died for our sins and rose again. When we believe in Jesus to save us from our sins, we are justified before God. Then we can approach God the Father in prayer because Jesus Christ allowed us to have access to God.

God wants us to come to him and find refuge in him. Let's stand on God's word: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Psalm 46:1 WEB. We need to go to him and ask him for the ability to get through each day in his strength, not ours. Remember, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13 WEB.

You mentioned spiritual oppression and we want to remind you of what the Apostle Paul taught. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:12 WEB. This means since the spiritual realm is the source of this oppression, we need to fight back in the spirit, not in our flesh.

We need to first ensure we are in right standing with Jesus Christ by believing in him and accepting him as Savior. Then we pray in Jesus name. "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." Ephesians 6:11 WEB.

Let us pray together:

Almighty Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling spiritually oppressed right now. We stand against any form of darkness or evil that may be causing this oppression, and we apply the blood of Jesus over this situation. Lord, you are our strength and our shield; we trust in you with all our hearts. Please uphold our brother/sister and grant them the strength to face each day in your mighty name. Bring breakthrough from this spiritual oppression, and let your light shine in the darkness. We pray that Jesus Christ will be exalted in this situation.

Here is a reminder of the Apostle Paul's prayer for strength and power. "that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ's love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." Ephesians 3:16-19 WEB.

We've been reminded of a verse that's been a beacon in tough times: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." (Psalm 46:1) We claim this promise today, believing that God is right here with you, ready to empower you for each day ahead.

We also want to encourage you with this thought: "The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation." (Exodus 15:2) Just as He was Moses' strength and salvation, He's eager to be yours too. Trust in Him, and let His strength flow through you like a mighty river.

Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up our friend to You right now. Lord, You've promised to be our strength in times of need, and we claim that promise today. Fill them with Your power, equip them to face each day, and bring a mighty breakthrough in Jesus' name. We trust in You, and we know that You are more than able to carry them through. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
