Prayer for Steve

I was told the other day that an old school friend of mine had died after falling from a bridge in a suicide attempt.

After making a lot of enquiries, I have found out that Steve has not infact died but is in our local hospital and all that I can find out from the hospital is that his condition is stable.

I would like to ask you to pray for him and others who are feeling that there is nothing worth living for.

Father I lift Steve up to you Lord. Please come into his life Lord so that he may know the wonderful blessings and peace of your love. Thank you Lord for being with him and not letting him die. I pray that he will find a renewed strenght in your love. I also pray for his friend Chris that I know is worried about him. Bless them both and bring them peace. In Jesus sweet name, Amen.

I pray for Steve and all others who are hurting and hopeless. We know discouragement is the work of satan. Lord, please squash the work satan is trying to do. Protect all people from his schemes. Lord, please bless Steve with your presence and give him hope. Bring him to salvation and to that sweet, sweet communion with your Spirit. Please place people around him who can guide him to your everlasting love and compassion. Father, please cover him with your hand.

Bless also, our brother Chris. Please provide in abundance for his financial needs, blessing everything his hands touch. Make straight his paths, removing all hindering obstacles. Let him give all glory and honor to you for what you are about to do in his life. At the foot of the cross, I bow down before you.
