We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for you and your precious son, knowing how deeply a parent’s love runs when their child is suffering. The fear and burden you carry are heavy, but we remind you that our Heavenly Father sees your distress and hears your cries. He is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and carries our burdens when they feel too great to bear. You have done well to seek medical help, and we trust the Lord to guide the doctors in wisdom and skill. Yet we also know that true healing comes from Him alone, and we lift your son up to the Lord with confidence in His power and mercy.
The Scripture assures us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* And again in James 5:15, we are told, *"The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim these promises over your son today, believing that the Lord will restore him to full health swiftly and completely. We also rebuke any sickness, fever, or infection in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to leave your son’s body and for his strength to be renewed. Typhoid or any other disease has no authority over him, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Yet we must also address the fear and anxiety that weigh on your heart. The Lord does not desire for you to carry this alone. In Philippians 4:6-7, we are told, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Sister, cast your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). He sees your need as a working mother, and He will provide a way for you to care for your son without lacking in your responsibilities. Trust Him to make a way where there seems to be none.
We also encourage you to seek support from your church family or trusted believers in your life. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there may be sisters in the Lord who can assist you practically during this time—whether through meals, childcare, or prayer. Do not hesitate to reach out, for we are not meant to walk this journey alone.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with a heart full of faith, lifting up this precious child to Your throne of grace. You are the God who heals, the One who holds all power and authority over sickness and disease. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch this young boy, breaking every fever, destroying every infection, and restoring his body to perfect health. Let Your healing power flow through him, renewing his strength and filling him with vitality. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus and declare that by His stripes, this child is healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Lord, we also lift up this mother, who carries the weight of fear and responsibility. Comfort her heart, Father, and remind her that You are her Provider and Strength. Give her wisdom to know how to care for her son while trusting You to sustain her family. Open doors for practical help and support, and let her feel the peace that comes from knowing You are in control. Help her to rest in Your promises, knowing that You will never leave her nor forsake her (Deuteronomy 31:6).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the healing that is already manifesting in this child’s body. May this situation bring glory to Your name, and may this family draw closer to You through it. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
