Prayer For Son

Heavenly Father,

I bring my son Steven to Your throne of mercy and grace, asking Your overwhelming presence upon his life. May he feel You right beside him, giving him strength and courage. I ask a healing for him - physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Father, I cannot control events and circumstances. It is only with Your intervention that wrongs will be righted and lives will be changed. I intercede for my son, asking that his sins be forgiven and that his life be firmly planted in You. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Lord, I touch and agree with Joyce's prayer. I have prayed this prayer myself at one time or another with my own son in mind. I just ask that you wrap your arms around Steven, that you draw him close. May you lead, guide and protect him. Help him to know what is right and to want to do all the right things. I pray for Joyce that you would give her peace knowing her son is in your hands and your eyes see all, your ears hear all and you will watch over him in all of his comings and goings. I ask for your hand and your blessings for Steven. Thank you, Lord. Amen

Father, I stand with this sister of mine in asking for Your intervention and guidance in her sons life. Lord, in our youth we sometimes make bad decisions, we feel invincible, it is the foolishness of our youthful age. I pray for her son to open his eyes, the same as I pray for mine. May he see life in all its reality, the truth of what is really real, You. Father guide this young man, watch his steps, I know that he is dear to Your heart. Lord, in all the troubles of life, in all we go through, it is nothing compared to the overwhelming knowledge that we as a family will be there at Your throne in the end. Bless this family, this mother and this young man. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Father God, I join in prayer with Joyce not only as a fellow Christian, but as a mom. We want nothing more than for our children to know you, no matter what their age. We want them to feel Your loving guidance and hear Your voice. May You reach down and touch Steven in just the way he needs to be nudged. May there be urgency in what he feels. Send Your forgiveness and restoration into every part of his life. In the name of Jesus, Your Son, I pray these things for Steven, Joyce's beloved son. Amen.
