Prayer for son

Heavenly Father,

I pray for my son Jonathan who had a birthday August 7th. Please bless his coming year, not so much financially, but spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Guide him Father, and let him be receptive to following You, pursuing You and Your Kingdom. Father, please let him feel secure about his salvation. Give him the assurance of his eternal destiny, and the joy and peace that comes from a relationship with you. Allow him to feel loved and accepted.

I ask that Your hand be upon his life, that you walk closely with him, allowing him to feel your presence. Please protect him from ungodly influences. Let him be strong and unbending in faith. May his life honor You and bring You glory and praise. It is in Jesus name I pray. Amen.
