Your request has been heard and we are joining you in prayer with a heavy and hopeful heart for your childhood friend in this critical hour.
We are asking our merciful God and Father to have compassion on him in his great danger. We pray that the Lord, who is the giver of life and the healer of our bodies and souls, would lay His hand upon him, grant wisdom and skill to the doctors and nurses caring for him, and if it be His gracious will, restore him to health and strength. We know that nothing is impossible with God and we plead for His wonder working power and mercy to be shown.
We also pray for comfort for you and for all who love him, and for the family of the one who died in the crash. In moments like this we are reminded how fragile life is and how much we need the hope that is only in Jesus Christ, who has conquered death and promises eternal life to all who put their trust in Him. We pray that your friend, and all affected by this tragedy, would know the nearness of Christ, His peace that passes understanding, and His saving grace.
We will continue to keep him before the Lord in prayer, asking for mercy, for healing according to God's perfect will, and for strength for you as you wait and intercede. Do not cease to call upon the Lord, for He hears the prayers of His people and is near to the brokenhearted.
