We join with you in asking our Heavenly Father for relief from pain and for peaceful, restorative sleep, and we are encouraged that you have asked in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.
We know how wearing pain can be, especially when it steals sleep, and how the lack of sleep can make pain feel even heavier. God sees your affliction and He cares deeply for your body and your rest. Scripture reminds us that sleep itself is a gift from Him, Psalm 127:2 says it is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his beloved. And Psalm 4:8 declares I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh, alone make me live in safety. He is the one who heals and binds up, as Psalm 147:3 tells us He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, and He invites us to bring every burden to Him.
Jesus says in Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. We take comfort also in Philippians 4:6-7 where we are told In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We are to be casting all our worries on him, because he cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. You know the pain they are enduring and the weariness that comes from sleepless nights. We ask for Your healing touch, that You would ease their pain according to Your perfect will and bring comfort to their body. Grant them peaceful, deep and restorative sleep tonight and in the nights to come. Quiet their mind and heart, remove anxiety and discomfort, and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard them as they rest. Help them to lie down in safety under Your watchful care and to wake refreshed and renewed for Your purposes. We thank You that You neither slumber nor sleep as You keep watch over Your children, and that we can trust You with every need. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, amen.

Your request for relief from pain and for peaceful, restorative sleep has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with you.
We are reminded that sleep is the gift of God. We think that we lay our heads upon our pillows and therefore we naturally sleep, but it is not so. The Scripture says, so he giveth his beloved sleep. It is a sleep of contentment and a sleep of security which the Lord himself bestows upon those who trust him, a rest which recruits our exhausted strength and fits us again for service.
He knows the weariness of the body and the heaviness of pain. Our Lord when he walked among men had eyes that were quick to spy out the lame and the suffering, and his hands were stretched out for their relief, for he went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed. He is still full of compassion toward those who ache and who watch through the night longing for rest. What a blessing sleep is to this poor weary frame, and how we count it a sore trial when night follows night and sleep is withheld.

Our Father, we ask in the name of Jesus Christ thy Son that thou wouldst look upon thy suffering child and grant relief from pain. Lay thy hand of mercy upon the body, ease what is sore and troubled, and quiet the mind and heart with thy peace. Your request for relief from pain and for peaceful, restorative sleep is heard with compassion and we join you in prayer before the Lord.
Scripture reminds us that sleep is a gift woven into our nature by God for our good. Night is given as a haven from our troubles and a medicine for our wounds, and sleep comes to restore us even when grief and pain would keep us awake. The Lord knows our frame and our weariness, and He has bound this need for rest into our nature so that we might be renewed.
We also remember that the One who watches over you never slumbers nor sleeps. He who keeps Israel does not grow weary, so you can rest because He remains awake to guard you. Even when pain makes the night long, He is present. When Paul and Silas were in pain, beaten and bound in prison at midnight, they prayed and sang praises to God, and He heard them. He is still the God who hears at midnight and who can bring peace and release when we feel most confined.
We pray for you now.

Your request for relief from pain and for peaceful, restorative sleep has been heard and brought before the Lord, and I have prayed for you in Jesus name.
The Lord knows how pain can rob the night. When the body is hurting and swollen, every movement can bring a sharp ache and sleep flees from the eyes. Long seasons of hard labor and waiting can do the same, leaving a person weary and unable to rest. God understands that kind of exhaustion and sleeplessness, and He does not look on it from a distance.
Jesus Himself was moved by human pain and sorrow. When He saw the grief that sickness and death bring, He groaned in His spirit and He wept. Scripture tells us we have a great high priest who is touched with the feeling of our weaknesses. He is not indifferent to your pain in the night. He sees it, He feels it with you, and He cares to bring comfort and healing.
You can rest in His care as a sheep rests with its shepherd. A shepherd in that land would lie down at the opening of the fold and say in effect, I am the door, nothing can get in to the sheep and no sheep wanders out except it passes over me. When you lie down, Christ Himself keeps watch over you. No fear, no harm, no worry can reach you without passing through His loving guard.
Even in sleep God remains near and heaven remains open. When Jacob was utterly exhausted and slept with only a stone for a pillow, God gave him a dream of a ladder set on the earth reaching to heaven with the Lord standing above it. It was a reminder that even in the most lonely and uncomfortable place, God was present and His help was not far away. In the same way, the Lord promises that His people will dwell safely and even sleep in the wilderness and in the woods, and that He will cause showers of blessing to come in their season.
His Word also keeps you in the night. The commandment is a lamp and instruction is a light, and when those truths are treasured in the heart, they watch over you when you sleep and speak to you when you awake.
So I have asked the Father to touch your body with His healing hand, to ease the pain that keeps you awake, to quiet your heart and mind, and to give you deep, peaceful, restorative sleep under the watch of the Shepherd. May He cause you to lie down safely and to awake refreshed, knowing that you are kept by His love through the night.
