Prayer for sleep

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this earnest plea for relief from pain and the gift of peaceful, restorative sleep. Father, You know the weariness of body and spirit that comes when sleep is elusive and pain is a constant companion. We stand in agreement with this dear one, declaring Your promises over their life and trusting in Your healing power.
The Word tells us in Psalm 4:8, *"In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."* Lord, we claim this promise now. You are the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4), and You are fully aware of every ache, every restless thought, and every sleepless night. We ask that You would quiet the mind, soothe the body, and bring deep, healing rest. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We also remember the words of Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* Jesus, we bring this burden of pain and sleeplessness to You, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and declare that by Your stripes, healing is possible (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen the body, Lord, and grant relief from suffering.
Father, we also lift up any anxieties or worries that may be contributing to this struggle. Your Word instructs us in 1 Peter 5:7 to *"cast all our worries on You, because You care for us."* Help this dear one to release every care into Your hands, trusting that You are in control. May they find comfort in Your presence, knowing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
We pray for a supernatural outpouring of Your peace tonight. Let sleep come like a gentle wave, restoring strength and renewing hope. May this one wake refreshed, knowing that You are their healer, their comforter, and their ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
