Prayer for sleep

We are glad to join you in prayer for peaceful sleep and relief from pain. God cares about every detail of our lives, including our sleep and discomfort. It's wonderful that you acknowledged the power in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to God and His many promises and blessings.
In Psalm 127:2, it says, He gives to his beloved sleep. This is a promise from God that He grants sleep to those He loves. Since you mentioned pain, let's also look at 1 Peter 2:24:
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds.
By the stripes of Jesus, you have been healed. We claim this promise over your life, rebuking any pain that might be hindering your sleep.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who is in need of peaceful sleep and relief from pain. We claim Your promise in Psalm 127:2, asking that You grant them the sleep they need, as they are Your beloved. We also claim the promise of healing in 1 Peter 2:24, praying that any pain would be dismissed in the name of Jesus.
Please comfort them, Lord, and help them to rest peacefully, casting all their anxieties on You, because You care for them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
While you wait on the Lord, continue to meditate on His promises and trust in His care for you. If there is anything specific causing you pain or disrupting your sleep that you would like us to pray about, please let us know.
