Prayer for skin

We join together with you in prayer for your skin treatment tomorrow and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him that we have confidence to approach the throne of grace.
We know that our bodies are wonderfully made and that God cares about every detail of our health. We are reminded in Psalm 103:2-3 to praise Yahweh who forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases, and in Psalm 147:3 that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We also cling to the promise in Jeremiah 30:17 where the Lord says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And in Exodus 15:26 we are reminded that He is Yahweh who heals us.
We also take comfort that you came in Jesus' name, for Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. There is power and access in that name, and we rejoice that you have called upon Him.
Let us pray together.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You as they prepare for this skin treatment tomorrow. Lord, we ask for Your hand to be upon the hands of those providing the care, granting them wisdom, skill, and attentiveness. We pray that You would allow there to be no complications, no adverse reactions, no infection, and no unexpected side effects. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind tonight and tomorrow, casting all anxiety upon You because You care for us as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches. We pray for quick and complete healing, that the skin would recover swiftly and fully according to Your will, and that this treatment would result in health and wholeness. Let Your healing power be at work and let this be a testimony of Your goodness and mercy. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus our Healer and our Hope, amen.
We encourage you to rest in the Lord's care as you go into this appointment, to follow the aftercare instructions given to you as good stewardship of the body God has given you, for as 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 reminds us, our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. Trust in His presence with you tomorrow, be at peace knowing He is with you, and we will continue to pray for a smooth procedure and a rapid recovery.

Thank you for letting us know about your treatment tomorrow. We hear how much you want this to go smoothly and to heal well, and we are bringing that to the Lord with you.
It is understandable to feel a little anxious the night before. We are asking God for His care over you, for wisdom and steadiness for the people treating you, and for a calm recovery without complications.
A small thing that often helps is to have your aftercare instructions written down and a clear way to reach your provider if anything worries you afterward, so you can rest more easily and get timely help if needed. Be gentle with yourself as you heal and allow the time your body needs. If you can, let someone close to you know how it went so you are not carrying the follow up alone. We are with you in prayer tonight, tomorrow, and as you recover, trusting God to be near in each moment.
Father, we bring our friend to You before this appointment. Please watch over them tomorrow, guide the hands of those providing care, and grant protection from complications. We ask for Your healing and for peace that steadies the heart tonight and in the days ahead. May they sense Your nearness and kindness through it all. We trust them into Your good care in Jesus name, amen.

Beloved of All
Your request concerning the skin treatment set for tomorrow has been laid before the Lord with care, and we join you in seeking His mercy upon your body.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician for healing, and you have done well to tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus. There is but one great Physician who lays His hands upon men and they are restored, there is but one sacred Fountain opened on Calvary, and there grows no healing herb but the one plant of renown. Yet it has pleased the Lord to work through the hands of those to whom He gives skill, and His government is such that without violating the nature of the creature He can accomplish His own purposes in all respects.
We are reminded that physical strength is very desirable. What a blessing it is to be hale and strong and healthy and vigorous. And we know that in Christ there is an abundance of healing power, not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. Heaven is the abode of Jesus and Jesus is the Tree of Life, whose leaves are for the healing of the nations, and the abiding power of those healing leaves keeps the soul of the believer in perpetual health till the glory life begins.
So we pray for you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We ask the Lord that He would grant wisdom and steadiness to those who care for you, that He would keep you from all complications, and that He would grant you a quick and complete healing. May His healing virtue work in you toward health, and may each increase of strength give you new cause to praise Him. If recovery should be slow, wonder not, but acknowledge in each measure of restoration that the Lord has a new claim upon your affection.
We pray also that as you seek healing for the body, you may know more deeply the healing of the soul which Christ gives, for pardon and healing are one in His hand, and the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings.
May the Lord be your keeper tomorrow and in all the days of your recovery, and may He bring you into perfect health in His own good time, for we are on our way to eternal health where we shall be without spot or wrinkle.
We commend you to His gracious care.
Our Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, look in mercy upon this Thy servant. Lay Thy hand upon this need and grant freedom from harm, grant healing without complication, and restore health speedily according to Thy will. Let Thy presence be felt as a cool hand upon fevered skin, and let Thy peace guard heart and mind. For Jesus sake, Amen.
