Prayer For Self-Improvement

It recently came to my awareness that there are things about myself that I need to change, but sometimes don't know how to do it and sometimes forget to do it. I grew up in a domestic violence home and a home in which I saw my father cheat on my mother and sometimes provide for other children. At the age ###, I am just seeing how much this has affected me. It is affecting me in my relationship with men and with my relationship with my family. I ask that God shows me how to heal from this and not let it affect my relationships in a negative way. Amen

Lord I pray that you will deliver child of God from strongmen and generational curses. Lord I pray that you show her your plan for her life and help her to walk down that path. Lord, speak to her and send your Holy Spirit upon her so that she may hear your voice. Keep her in your loving arms and help her to forgive those that have hurt her so long ago.

You must forgive your father before you can heal from the wounds left behind. Remember Jesus will bind up your wounds. By his stripes we are healed.
