God bless u even for that desire. Purification does not happen instantly in one's life. It is a process of denying oneself daily, not through a religious spirit because we will place ourself in a religious bondage. It is when your neighbour, friend, foe, a love one comes up against you, when U stand up for the word of God, get persecuted, through tribulation, suffering for the sake of Jesus, that is part of the purification, stantification , yet trusting God through it. This is going into the potter's house, for we are clay. Clay is moulded, water is used to soften the harding of the clay, there is also the processing of the clay, then the fire. Self has to die.
Matt 10:38 He who does not take up his cross & follow ME (Jesus) is not worthy of Me.
Meaning to cleave steadfastly to Jesus, conforming wholly to Jesus example in living etc.
Matt 16:24 Jesus said to His disciples, if anyone desires to me My disciple, let him DENY himself, take up his cross & follow Me. Putting God's principles in practice in our hearts & mind. In other words to be sold out completely for Christ, as Paul said "to live is Christ to live in me". It is all about Jesus. Joseph, Daniel, 3 Hebrew men, Job, David, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Peter, James, Paul , Stephen, suffered ,unmentioned slained. Prisoners in China, Iran, many Muslem countires Christian are being persecuted for Christ. God has given them the grace to stand through it. It is a price, self must be denied. So Father U see the motive & desire of this man, teach him your ways & show him how to walk in the spirit of your words as he abides in Christ. Father put him the right place & around true godly men to encourage him in Jesus name. Father, I pray for salvation for this family in Jesus name. Father surround them with your angels.
