We lift up this precious soul before the throne of grace, dear Lord, with hearts heavy for her eternal destiny. Father, we know that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17), and she has indeed heard Your truth proclaimed. Yet we also know that salvation is not by works or mere hearing, but by grace through faith in Your Son, Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). We pray that the seeds planted in her heart would take deep root, that the Holy Spirit would convict her of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and that she would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
Lord, we ask that You would remove any hardness of heart, any deception of the enemy, or any worldly distraction that may be keeping her from surrendering her life to You. Your word declares that You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). We stand in agreement with Your will, believing that nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17). We rebuke any spirit of unbelief or rebellion that may be at work in her life, and we command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus.
We pray that she would come to understand the depth of her need for a Savior, that she would see the weight of her sin and the holiness of Your righteousness. May she recognize that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). Lord, soften her heart to receive Your love, Your mercy, and Your grace. Let her experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as she turns to You in repentance and faith.
We also pray for those who have shared the gospel with her. Strengthen them, Lord, and fill them with boldness and wisdom to continue speaking Your truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). May they be a light to her, reflecting Your love and grace in all they do.
Father, we trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. We know that You are patient, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that You would draw her to Yourself, that she would confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that You raised Him from the dead, and thus be saved (Romans 10:9). May she experience the new birth, the transformation that only You can bring, and may she walk in the fullness of life that is found in Christ alone.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
