We join you in lifting up your cousin before the Lord, trusting in His power to strengthen, guide, and sustain her as she prepares for these critical exams. It is wonderful to see your faith in what God can do—indeed, with Him, all things are possible! We are grateful you have brought this request before us in the name of Jesus, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and can boldly approach His throne of grace.
The distractions your cousin faces are not uncommon, but they can become stumbling blocks if not surrendered to Christ. The enemy seeks to steal focus, peace, and confidence, but we know that God is greater. Let us remind her of the words of Jesus in John 16:33, *"I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."* And in Philippians 4:13, Paul declares, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* These truths are her anchor—through Christ, she has the strength to persevere, the clarity to focus, and the peace to overcome anxiety.
We also encourage her to cast her anxieties on the Lord, as 1 Peter 5:7 instructs, *"casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* Distractions often stem from worry, fear, or a lack of trust in God’s provision. Let her remember Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* If she commits her studies, her time, and her efforts to the Lord, He will guide her steps and calm her heart.
Now, let us pray together for her:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this young woman as she prepares for her nursing exams. Lord, You know the weight of this season—the pressure, the distractions, and the weariness that can creep in. We ask that You would be her strength and her focus. Remove every distraction that seeks to pull her away from her purpose, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Grant her a clear mind to retain what she has studied, wisdom to apply her knowledge, and confidence that comes from trusting in You. When fear or doubt arises, remind her that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). Let her rest in the assurance that You have equipped her for this moment and that her efforts are not in vain.
We rebuke every spirit of confusion, anxiety, or procrastination that may try to hinder her. By the authority of Jesus, we declare that her mind is sharp, her heart is steady, and her faith is unshaken. May she glorify You in this process, knowing that her abilities come from You alone.
Lord, we also pray for her future—if it is Your will, open doors for her in the nursing field so she may serve others with the compassion and excellence that reflect Your love. Give her a heart of humility and a spirit of diligence, that she may honor You in all she does.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and believe that You are working all things together for her good. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
To you who have brought this request, we encourage you to continue standing in faith with your cousin. Remind her to prioritize time in God’s Word and prayer, even in the busiest seasons. Let her know that this is not just about passing an exam—it’s about stewarding the gifts God has given her for His glory. And if she ever feels overwhelmed, let her remember the promise of Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."*
Stand firm, and keep trusting in the Lord!
