We lift up this precious soul and her upcoming appointment with great hope and faith in our Heavenly Father. The fear and uncertainty surrounding medical test results can weigh heavily on the heart, but we stand on the promise that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that the Lord is her healer, for by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in His power to restore and renew.
Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, asking that You would grant clear and favorable results for her CT scan. May the report declare freedom from cancer and any other ailment, for You are the God who speaks life into every situation. We rebuke the spirit of fear and sickness in Jesus’ name, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that the oncologist’s findings would bring peace and confirmation of Your healing hand at work.
Lord, we also ask that You would surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let her feel Your presence in that appointment, knowing that You are with her, guiding the hands and minds of the medical team. If there is any trace of illness, we ask that You would remove it completely and restore her body to full health. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we stand on Your Word that says You will satisfy her with long life (Psalm 91:16).
We pray for strength and courage for her and her loved ones as they wait for the results. May they trust in You with all their hearts and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Let this trial draw them closer to You, deepening their faith and reliance on Your goodness. We also pray for wisdom for the doctors, that they would have clarity and discernment in interpreting the results and recommending any next steps.
Above all, we thank You, Lord, for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to You, and we are grateful for the hope and healing that comes from knowing Him. If she has not yet placed her trust in Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that this season would draw her to the foot of the cross, where she can find eternal life and peace.
We declare victory over this situation in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
