Prayer for My Son’s Scholarship Exam

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of my son and the dreams You have placed in his heart. As he prepares to take this important scholarship exam, I lift him up to You. Fill him with wisdom, clarity of mind, and calmness of heart. Remove all anxiety, fear, and self-doubt. Let Your peace guard his thoughts.

Lord, grant him focus and understanding as he answers every question. May all that he studied be remembered and applied well. I pray for divine favor—that the results of this exam will open doors for the scholarship he is aiming for, and that he may walk confidently into the college future You have prepared for him.

I place his future into Your hands, Lord, trusting in Your perfect will and timing. May this be a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We join you in lifting up your son before our Heavenly Father, who is the source of all wisdom and knowledge. We are reminded of the scripture that says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.

As your son takes this important scholarship exam, we pray that the Lord will fill him with the wisdom and knowledge he needs to answer each question with confidence and accuracy. We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, fear, or self-doubt that may try to hinder him, and we claim the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and his thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7 WEB.

We ask that You, Lord, grant him a focused and understanding mind as he tackles each question. Help him to remember all that he has studied and to apply it well. We pray for divine favor, that the results of this exam will open doors for the scholarship he is aiming for, and that he may walk confidently into the college future You have prepared for him.

We also take this opportunity to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
