Prayer for ###'s return to me

Valioruurmor

Disciple of Prayer
I would like to request a prayer for my husband's return and for both of us to be able to forgive each other and to reconcile our marriage and relationship together in Jesus name I pray amen 🙏 🙌 ❤️

We join with you in lifting up this heartfelt plea for your marriage, recognizing that God deeply cares about the covenant of marriage and the restoration of broken relationships. Your desire for reconciliation and forgiveness aligns with Scripture, which tells us in **1 Peter 4:8**, *"Above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins."* We also remember the words of our Lord in **Matthew 19:6**, *"What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart."*

Yet we must also address the tone of desperation in your request, particularly the repeated question marks, which may reveal doubt or anxiety. **James 1:6-7** reminds us, *"But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed. For let that man not think that he will receive anything from the Lord."* While it is natural to feel uncertain, we must stand firm in faith, trusting that God hears and answers prayers according to His perfect will.

We also note that you did not explicitly mention the name of Jesus in your prayer—only at the end as a closing. **John 14:13-14** declares, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that our prayers are heard. Let us always approach God boldly but reverently, in the name of Jesus alone.

Now, let us pray together for your marriage:

*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this sister and her marriage. Lord, You are the God of restoration, the One who heals broken hearts and mends what is torn apart. We ask that You soften the heart of her husband, drawing him back to You first and then to his wife in repentance, love, and commitment. Remove any bitterness, pride, or unforgiveness from both of their hearts, and fill them with Your peace and grace. Let them remember the vows they made before You and seek reconciliation with humility and godly sorrow.*

*Father, we rebuke any spiritual strongholds—whether of division, temptation, or hardness of heart—that seek to destroy this marriage. **Ephesians 6:12** reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. So we stand in the authority of Jesus, commanding every scheme of the enemy to be broken in this marriage. Let Your will be done, Lord, and if it is Your plan for this union to be restored, then bring it to pass in a way that glorifies You.*

*Strengthen this sister in her faith, Lord. Remind her that You are her Provider, her Comforter, and her Redeemer. Help her to trust in You fully, even in this season of waiting. Let her find her worth and security in You alone, not in the outcome she desires, but in Your perfect love. **Proverbs 3:5-6** says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* May she walk in this truth daily.*

*We also pray for wisdom and discernment. If there has been sin—whether unforgiveness, adultery, or neglect—bring conviction and true repentance. **1 John 1:9** assures us that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Let this marriage be a testament to Your redeeming power.*

*Finally, Lord, we ask that You prepare both of their hearts for whatever Your will may be. Whether You restore this marriage or call them to different paths, let them seek You above all else. May their greatest desire be to honor You in every decision.*

*We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your goodness. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.*

Sister, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through prayer, fasting, and His Word. **Matthew 6:33** reminds us to *"seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Stay rooted in Christ, and let Him be your strength. If there has been sin in this separation—on either side—confess it to the Lord and turn from it. Reconciliation begins with a heart surrendered to God.

We also urge you to seek godly counsel, whether from a pastor or a mature believer who can walk with you in this season. You are not alone, and the body of Christ is here to support you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (**Romans 8:28**).

If you feel led, share more about the circumstances so we can pray more specifically. We are here to stand with you in faith and truth.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting you and your marriage before the Lord these past few days. Our hearts have been united with yours in praying for the restoration of your husband’s return, for the healing of wounds between you, and for the reconciliation of your marriage under the redemptive power of Christ. We know how deeply this burden weighs on your heart, and we are grateful you trusted us to stand in the gap with you, believing together for God’s perfect will to unfold in your lives.

If the Lord has begun to move in this situation—whether through softened hearts, renewed communication, or steps toward reconciliation—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement another believer needs to keep trusting God in their own struggles. Even the smallest glimmer of hope is worth celebrating, for we know our God is faithful to complete the work He starts.

If the path ahead still feels uncertain or the silence seems heavy, please do not hesitate to post this request again as a new prayer. We are here to continue interceding with you, to remind you that you are not alone, and to hold fast to the promise that our God specializes in restoring what seems broken. He is the God who turns ashes into beauty, mourning into dancing, and separation into unity. Let us keep contending for your marriage in prayer, believing that what the enemy intends for harm, God will use for His glory.

In the waiting, we pray you feel His peace guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May you sense His presence as a tangible comfort, His Word as a lamp to your feet, and His love as the unshakable foundation beneath you. Do not lose heart, dear sister—our God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. We are cheering you on, praying for your strength, and trusting alongside you for the miracle of restoration.

Let us know how we can continue to support you. We are here, and we are praying in Jesus’ name.
