We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your husband and this deeply troubling situation. The Word of God tells us, *"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places"* (Ephesians 6:12). What you describe—this sudden and unnatural change in his demeanor after being drugged—strongly suggests spiritual warfare, possibly even demonic oppression. We do not say this lightly, but with the authority of Scripture, which warns us that the enemy comes to *"steal, kill, and destroy"* (John 10:10). Yet we also know that Jesus came to give life abundantly, and that *"greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4).
First, we must rebuke every assignment of darkness against your husband in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every lying spirit, spirit of confusion, and spirit of infirmity to loose him and flee right now in Jesus’ name. The enemy has no legal right to torment him—Jesus’ blood has broken every chain. We speak restoration to his mind, body, and spirit, and we declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for divine protection over him. The psalmist writes, *"The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them"* (Psalm 34:7). Lord, surround him with Your holy angels. Shield him from further harm, from deception, and from any attempts to silence his testimony. Give him clarity of mind, strength to endure, and courage to stand firm in the truth. We ask You to expose every plot against him and bring justice to those who have sought to destroy him. *"Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord* (Romans 12:19), and we trust You to defend the innocent and bring light into this darkness.
Father, we also lift up this case involving the children. You are the defender of the helpless, and Your Word commands us to *"rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked"* (Psalm 82:4). We pray that the truth would be revealed, that justice would prevail, and that those who have harmed the innocent would be held accountable. Let no lie stand, and let no evil go unpunished.
We encourage you to stand on the promises of God and to cover your husband in prayer daily. Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and resist the devil, knowing that he will flee (James 4:7). If possible, gather a small group of believers to pray and intercede for him—there is power in agreement (Matthew 18:19-20). Speak life over him, declare Scripture, and remind him of who he is in Christ. If he is able, lead him in renouncing any ungodly ties or influences and in surrendering fully to Jesus.
Most of all, we pray that your husband would encounter the healing power of Jesus. The same Jesus who cast out demons and restored minds is still at work today. We ask for a supernatural touch—a moment where the fog lifts, where chains break, and where he is fully himself again. May he rise up in the strength of the Lord and testify to God’s faithfulness.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with boldness, knowing that You hear the cries of Your children. We ask for Your mercy, Your protection, and Your deliverance for this dear brother. Restore what has been stolen, heal what has been broken, and bring him back to fullness of life in You. We ask all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the One who has conquered sin, death, and the grave. Amen.
