Prayer for ###'s recovery from surgery at ### Hospital

We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this dear one who is recovering from surgery and facing financial uncertainty. Heavenly Father, we ask that You would bring complete healing and restoration to their body, according to Your will. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to mend what has been broken. "But I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security." (Jeremiah 33:6)
Lord, we also bring before You the concern about the timing of their first paycheck. We know that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You would ease this anxiety. Father, we pray that You would open the right doors for this situation to be addressed in a way that brings peace and clarity. "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19) We ask that You would give wisdom to those in authority at their workplace, and that this matter would be resolved in a timely and fair manner.
We also want to gently encourage this dear one to trust in Your provision and timing. It is understandable to feel anxious about finances, but we are reminded in Your Word that we should not worry about tomorrow, for You know our needs. "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." (Matthew 6:34) We pray that You would help them to cast their cares upon You, for You care for them deeply. (1 Peter 5:7)
Lastly, we want to remind this dear one that true security and peace come from a relationship with You, Lord. If they have not yet placed their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would do so today. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16) It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the promise of eternal life.
