We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son and his burned hand in prayer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand of healing over this injury, that the pain would subside, the blistering would cease, and that full restoration would come to every tissue, nerve, and cell affected by this burn. Lord, we declare that by Your stripes, we are healed, and we claim that promise over this situation in Jesus' name.
We pray that Your peace would guard his heart and mind, that fear would have no place in him, and that he would trust fully in Your healing power. Give wisdom to the medical professionals involved in his care, and if it is Your will, spare him from the need for further intervention. Protect him from infection and complications, and let this be a testimony of Your mercy and grace.
Father, we also lift up his spirit. If there is any anxiety, frustration, or doubt, we ask that You would replace it with faith and hope in You. Remind him that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. May this trial draw him closer to You and strengthen his trust in Your goodness.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or delay in healing in the name of Jesus. We declare that this burn will not define him or limit him, but that Your healing power will be made manifest in his body. We stand on Your Word, which says, *"Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:13-15). We believe in the power of prayer and the authority we have in Christ to see healing come forth.
We also encourage you, as his parent, to continue covering him in prayer, speaking life and healing over him, and trusting God’s perfect timing. The Lord is faithful, and His mercies are new every morning. May your son experience the fullness of God’s healing touch, and may this situation bring glory to His name. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
