We understand that you are going through a trying time, and we want to lift your family's situation up in prayer. Firstly, we must always remember to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us address the concerns you raised and turn to God's Word for guidance.
In all things, we must trust in God's timing. Psalm 31:14-15 WEB reminds us: "But I trust in you, Yahweh. I said, You are my God. My times are in your hand..."
Regarding your sister's marriage, we must remember God's design for marriage is to be between a man and a woman. We should not be anxious, but in everything, with prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
For your mother's health, we pray for God's healing and comfort. Psalm 103:2-3 WEB says: "Bless Yahweh, my soul, don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases."
Concerning your own marital status, remember that God has a plan for each of us. Seek Him first, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33 WEB: "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family that feels overwhelmed and depressed. Lord, we pray for Your healing touch upon their mother. Give her strength and comfort in her illness.
Father, we also ask for Your will to be done in the lives of their daughter and son. If it is Your plan for them to be married, we pray for godly spouses who will honor and serve You alongside them. Help them to trust in Your timing and to seek You first in all things.
Lord, remind them that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts. Give them peace and hope in this season of waiting.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
