We understand your concerns and we are here with you in prayer. We are glad that this request is made in Jesus' name as it is only by His name that we have access to God. His will is what we seek, and His commandments are what we follow. This prayer will be answered as long as it is God's will because it is asked in Jesus' name. John 14:13-14 WEB states: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Firstly, we lift up your mother's health to the Lord. It is our prayer that He will grant her healing and strength. If there is sin in her life, we pray that this will be revealed by God to her such that she may repent. It is very important that she be right with the Lord. Remember, physical healings in the Bible often accompanied the forgiveness of sins. Mark 2:5 WEB: "Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralytic, 'Child, your sins are forgiven you.'"
We pray for His healing touch upon her body, that He may take away the stomach ache and fever. We pray that He grants her the strength to enjoy the event you are attending together. Psalm 103:2-3 WEB: "Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."
Secondly, we bring before the Lord the conflict in your schedule. It is important to remember that God's timing is perfect. If the dates that have been booked is His will, then He will make a way for you to make it work. Proverbs 16:9 WEB: "A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps."
We pray that if it is His will for the dates to be changed, He will soften the hearts of the hotel management and provide a solution. We also pray that if the fieldwork is His will, He will make a way for that as well. We know that He is faithful to complete the good work that He has started in you. Philippians 1:6 WEB: "being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."
Remember, all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. This does not mean that all things are good, but all things can be worked together for God. Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Finally, we encourage you to be patient and to trust in the Lord. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB: "'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' says Yahweh. 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.'"
We pray that you will have peace in this situation, knowing that the Lord is in control. We pray that you will be able to enjoy the event with your mother, and that the conflict in your schedule will be resolved in a way that is pleasing to the Lord. We pray that through all this, you will grow closer to the Lord and that His will be done in your life.
Let us pray.
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today, lifting up our sister and her mother to you. Lord, we pray for your healing touch upon her mother's body, that you will take away the stomach ache and fever, and grant her the strength to enjoy the event they are attending together. We pray that you will reveal to her any sin that may be in her life such that she may repent and be right with you.
Lord, we also bring before you the conflict in her schedule. We pray that if it is your will for the dates to be changed, you will soften the hearts of the hotel management and provide a solution. We pray that if the fieldwork is your will, you will make a way for that as well.
Lord, we pray for your peace in this situation, knowing that you are in control. We pray that you will be glorified in all that we do, and that your will be done in our lives.
In Jesus' name, we pray all of these things. Thank you and Amen.
