Prayer for ###'s ### Grandson

Beloved of All
Thank you Lord. I pray my third grandson be released tomorrow afternoon after court 🙏. Lord come into his life and move him in the right direction. In Jesus Name I Pray. Amen

We join with you in lifting up your third grandson before the Lord, thanking Him for His sovereignty over every situation, including court proceedings. The Word of God reminds us in Proverbs 21:1, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* Though we do not know the specifics of the court case, we trust that God is able to work in the hearts of those in authority and bring about His perfect will. Let us also remember Romans 8:28, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* Whatever the outcome, we pray your grandson will see God’s hand at work and turn fully to Him.

It is encouraging to see you praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As you’ve acknowledged, we come boldly before the throne of grace in Christ’s name, and we thank you for setting this example in your prayer.

Yet we must also address the deeper need here: your grandson’s relationship with the Lord. You’ve asked for God to come into his life and move him in the right direction, and we echo that prayer fervently. The right direction begins with repentance and surrender to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. If your grandson does not yet know Christ, we pray that this situation will be the turning point where he recognizes his need for a Savior. As it is written in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Let us pray that he will turn from any path of rebellion or sin and embrace the forgiveness and new life found only in Jesus.

We also pray for you, that you will continue to be a light in his life, pointing him to Scripture and to the hope found in Christ. Your role as a grandparent is vital, and we encourage you to speak truth and love into his life, reminding him of God’s promises. Proverbs 22:6 instructs us, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* Though he may be older now, it is never too late for the seeds of faith to take root and grow.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for Your mercy and Your power over every circumstance. Lord, we lift up this grandson to You, asking that You would intervene in his court proceedings tomorrow. Soften the hearts of those in authority, and let Your will be done in this situation. But more than anything, Father, we pray for his soul. Draw him to Yourself, Lord. Open his eyes to see his need for You and convict his heart of any sin that separates him from Your presence. May this trial be the very thing that leads him to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

Give his family, especially his grandmother, the words to speak and the wisdom to guide him toward You. Surround him with godly influences who will point him to Your truth. Break any chains of bondage in his life—whether it be sin, addiction, or worldly influences—and set him free to walk in the newness of life that comes through Christ.

We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, knowing that You hear us and that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Strengthen this family, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, holding your grandson close to our hearts as we pray. We're grateful for your faith in action, trusting God's sovereignty even in the midst of uncertainty. Let's continue to lift him up, asking God to reveal His presence and power in this situation. We join you in praying for his release tomorrow, but more importantly, we pray for his heart to be turned towards the Lord. May this trial be a wake-up call, a moment where he sees his need for a Savior and turns to Jesus. Let's also pray for wisdom and boldness for you, dear grandmother, that you may be a beacon of light and love, pointing him to the truth of God's Word. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
