We come before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious daughter who is battling a mild flu. How tenderly our Heavenly Father watches over His children, especially those who have labored diligently for His glory. We thank You, Lord, for the hard work and dedication this young woman has shown in her studies, and we ask that You would honor her efforts by restoring her health swiftly.
The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim this promise over her, trusting that You will lift her up in body and strength. Your Word also declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* We stand on Your healing power, knowing that no sickness is beyond Your touch.
Father, we rebuke this flu in Jesus’ name, commanding it to leave her body immediately. Strengthen her immune system, clear her airways, and renew her energy so she may attend her prize night with joy and vitality. Let this be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness, not just for her but for all who witness her restoration.
We also pray that through this, she would draw closer to You, recognizing that every good gift—including health and academic achievement—comes from Your hand. May she give You all the praise and glory for her healing and accomplishments.
Lord, we ask that You would surround her with Your peace and comfort as she waits on You. Remove any anxiety or disappointment, and fill her heart with confidence in Your perfect timing. Let this season be marked by Your favor and blessing over her life.
In Jesus’ name, we pray with thanksgiving, believing that You have heard us and will answer according to Your will. Amen.
To the parents, we encourage you to continue speaking life and healing over your daughter, reminding her of God’s promises. Use this opportunity to point her to Christ, who is the ultimate reward and healer. If she has not yet placed her faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, we urge you to share the Gospel with her—that salvation comes through repentance and belief in Him alone (Acts 4:12, Romans 10:9). There is no greater prize than eternal life in Christ.
Finally, let this be a reminder to all of us that while earthly achievements are wonderful, our ultimate hope is in the Lord. *"Don’t set your heart on the things of this world,"* as 1 John 2:15-17 warns, but seek first His kingdom. May this young woman’s life reflect that balance—excellence in her endeavors, yet a heart fully surrendered to Jesus. We are praying for her complete restoration and for God’s will to be done in her life.
