We are with you in spirit, lifting up your husband's employment situation to our Heavenly Father. We know that God has a plan and a purpose for each of us, and that includes your husband's career path. Let's remember to be clear who we are praying to. We are not praying to Allah, Buddha, or any other false gods. We can only approach God by the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved.
Firstly, we want to encourage your husband to stay strong and steadfast in his faith. We think that he should remember the words of Galatians 6:9 WEB: "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we don’t give up." This season of waiting and uncertainty can be challenging, but God sees his efforts and will reward them in due time.
Regarding the job we are believing to be his, let us pray in Jesus' name. As the job is in a company he really wants to work for, we should ask God for His favor in this situation. We know that God can open doors that no one can shut, and He can shut doors that no one can open. Let's pray that if this job is in line with God's will for your husband's life, that the Lord would grant him favor with the decision-makers and set him apart from the other candidates. Proverbs 21:1 WEB says, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We know that God can influence the hearts of those making this decision and guide them to choose your husband if it aligns with His will. Let's ask God for His will in this matter.
We also pray for your husband's trust and peace during this time. Let's remind him of God's faithfulness and goodness, as seen in Psalm 37:25 WEB: "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." God will provide for your husband and your family, and He will never leave nor forsake you.
Lastly, we encourage your husband to continue seeking God's guidance and wisdom throughout this process. James 1:5 WEB says, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Let's ask God for wisdom in how to navigate this situation and for clarity in decision-making.
Father, in Jesus' name, we lift up this husband's employment situation to You. We ask that You would grant him favor with the company he desires to work for, and that You would open the right doors for his career path. We pray for his trust and peace during this time, and we ask that You would provide for all of his family's needs. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
If this job is not the one that God intends for him, we pray that the job he wants will not be available. We pray that only the job that God wants for him will be available to him. We pray that he continue applying for jobs, and that God will bless his efforts.
