Prayer for ###'s dr appt

Heavenly father, I lift up my father to you tonight. He's so nervous seeing his oncologist for the first time tomorrow morning. Heavenly father, I praise you again, for last Sunday. My father went to church by himself.

Heavenly father, I pray for my father's second dr's appt tomorrow. He's having a tiny surgery on his nose. He's having some cancer removed. I pray that you watch over my father with both his appointments tomorrow. We will have a busy day. Lord, thank you for keeping me busy during this time. I pray that you're with us tomorrow with these dr appts. I pray for this doctor, father I pray this doctor is from you. In Jesus Name, amen.

Holy and Merciful God, thank you for the relationship between ### and her dad. Our parents are such a precious gift and I praise You for their love for one another. God, today I am asking that You instill the same courage and faith in ###'s dad that You gave to my mother the day we took her for her first visit with the oncologist. It's such a scary time God, but it's so much easier when we feel the prompting of Your spirit within us. You know what You did for us that day, and I pray You would bless ### and her dad with the same assurance of spirit and faith. May the doctors be successful in their procedure, may You take away all pain, worry and disease. By Your healing hands, reach down and touch ###'s dad with restoration and strength. Stay close by their sides, lead them in courage and peace I pray. Amen.

Thank you everybody, prayers are being answered. We had a great oncologist. My father gets a CAT scan on Monday. Surgery is not an option because of his COPD and emphysema; he's on oxygen 24/7 now. Looks like he will most likely be on radiation for 6 weeks, 5 days a week. Unless his CT says something different. Thank you Jesus, my father was such a good patient today. No yelling, or gripping, he was on his best behavior. Thank you Jesus, thank you, it was a long day. Over 3 hours at the oncologist, and 5 hours at the dermatologist getting his minor surgery. It was a long day, but we all made it through. Thank you Jesus for all you do, all you're doing, and all you're going to do with my father. In Jesus Name, amen.
