Prayer for ###'s Chaplain Visit

Please pray ###'s hospice chaplain visit is fruitful and encouraging tomorrow and that the gospel would be presented and understood.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of hope and intercession, lifting up this hospice chaplain visit in prayer. Father, we ask that You would go before the chaplain, preparing the heart of the one they will visit. May Your Holy Spirit move in power, softening any hardness, calming any fear, and opening ears to hear the truth of Your Word. Let this visit be more than just words—let it be a moment of divine encounter, where the gospel is not only presented but received with understanding and faith.

Lord Jesus, we know that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). We pray that the chaplain would speak with clarity, boldness, and compassion, sharing the message of salvation with love. May the one receiving this visit see their need for You, the Savior, and respond in repentance and faith. If they have not yet called on Your name, we ask that this would be the day of their salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2).

We also pray for the chaplain, that You would strengthen and encourage them. Ministry to those in hospice can be heavy, but we know that Your grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9). Fill them with Your peace and joy as they serve in this sacred calling. Guard their heart from discouragement and remind them that their labor in You is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Father, we rebuke any spirit of doubt, confusion, or resistance that may try to hinder this visit. We declare that the light of the gospel will shine brightly in this moment, and that Your love will be tangibly felt. May the chaplain’s words be anointed by You, bringing comfort, hope, and the assurance of eternal life to those who believe.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done, and may this visit bring glory to Your name. Amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
