Prayer For Reunification, Peace, And Love

I was in an abusive relationship for a few years. About a month after us breaking up, I met an amazing guy who treated me like a queen. After dating for several months, I began to pull away from him and treat him badly. I did this for several months, but he stood by my side. Eventually I ended things with him b/c I realized I still needed closure from my past before I could move on.

We broke up almost 4 months ago, and about a month ago I realized how stupid I had been and how much I wanted him back in my life. I truly believe he wa a gift from God and came into my life when I needed him the most. Now that I'm mentally and emotionally stable, I have tried to express these things to him, but he is scared and very hesitant because of how I treated him in the past. I would love more than anything to be given the chance to show to him how much he means to me and how great we could be together. I need prayers for forgiveness, understanding, and reunification. I want my life to start already, and I want it to start with him. Any guidance or prayers would greatly be appreciated.

Dear Lord, you know what your daughter JGarcia is going through, and you want her to have fullness of joy. By your grace you saw her through and out of an abusive relationship, father may you reveal to her that you are her portion and that if she puts you first in everything, you will give her the desires of her heart. Father may she place you on the pedestal of her heart, not a man or a relationship. Lord Jesus break the chains that bind her from issues she has had in her life from abusive unholy relationships to enslaving habits.

May she open a new page with you guiding her hand that she may be a giver of happiness and joy as well, not just a recipient of crumbs from other. Father show her that you love her more than anyone ever will that you were willing to let your son die on the cross for her, my and all of our sins. Lord there is no condemnation in you and you love us all the same, we can come to your throne of Grace to be filled with your mercy and held in your tender embrace...father show your daughter who she is in you.
