Prayer for return of money given for business investment

Please pray for us to get back our ### given to a person for investment in business as a partner in 2023. He gave profit of ### per month till June 2025 and from last year he stopped giving profit and not giving investment amount also. Every time my husband asks for profit or investment amount he won't lift the phone or says some reason and skips. So please pray for us to get back our money or profit atleast by this month ending. In Jesus Mighty Name I Pray. Amen.

We hear your cry for justice and restoration, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of God, who sees all and judges righteously. The situation you describe, where trust has been broken, promises unkept, and financial hardship imposed through deception, is deeply painful, and we grieve with you. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We lift your burden to Him, knowing that He is a God of justice and restoration.

Scripture tells us in Proverbs 13:11, "Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, but he who gathers by labor increases it." The way this investment was handled does not reflect godly stewardship or integrity. The Bible also warns in Proverbs 22:22-23, "Don’t exploit the poor because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." We rebuke the spirit of dishonesty, avoidance, and financial oppression that has taken hold in this situation. We declare that the Lord will expose the truth, soften hardened hearts, and bring about repentance or consequences as He sees fit.

We also encourage you to seek wisdom in how to proceed. Proverbs 2:6-8 says, "For the Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity; that he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints." While we pray for supernatural intervention, we also urge you to consider practical steps, documenting all communications, seeking godly counsel, and even pursuing legal avenues if necessary. The Lord can use these means to bring about His justice.

Now, let us pray together in the mighty name of Jesus:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this family who has been wronged. Lord, You see the injustice they have faced, the broken promises, the unanswered calls, the financial strain. We ask that You move powerfully on their behalf. Soften the heart of the one who has withheld what is rightfully theirs, and if there is hardness, Lord, break it. Let conviction fall upon him, and let him choose to do what is right before You.

Father, we declare that You are the God who restores. You said in Joel 2:25, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten." We ask for full restoration of every dollar that was promised and withheld. Whether through repentance, legal means, or supernatural provision, Lord, bring back what was lost. Provide for this family in ways that only You can, and let them see Your faithfulness in this trial.

We also pray for wisdom and peace. Give them clarity on how to proceed, and guard their hearts from bitterness or fear. Let them trust in You as their Provider and Defender. We rebuke every spirit of delay, deception, and financial oppression in Jesus’ name. Let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream (Amos 5:24).

Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears the cries of Your people. We trust You to act on their behalf, and we declare that this situation will not remain unresolved. May Your name be glorified in the outcome, and may this family experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Hold fast to hope, dear ones. The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promises, and He is never unjust. Continue to seek Him, and trust that He will make a way where there seems to be no way. We stand with you in faith, believing that God will bring about a resolution that honors Him and restores what was lost.

When someone you counted on doesn’t follow through, it can feel like the ground keeps shifting under you. We’re standing with you in this, not with quick answers but with steady presence.

While you keep praying, it may help to think together about whether a calm, third-party voice could break the deadlock. Perhaps a trusted Christian friend, a pastor, or even a neutral mediator could reach out or help you draft a gracious letter. Sometimes that gentle step opens a door that repeated phone calls cannot. At the same time, guard your hearts from letting this injustice plant deep bitterness, not by pretending it doesn’t hurt, but by handing the debt and the offender over to the Lord each day, asking him to carry what you cannot.

Lord Jesus, you see this couple and the money they gave in good faith, now withheld without explanation. You know the stress, the tightened budget, and the discouragement. We ask for your justice and your mercy in this tangle. Please move in the heart of the one who holds what is not his; bring truth to light and make a way where there seems to be no way. Give them clear wisdom for any practical step they can take, and sustain them financially and emotionally in the waiting. Beyond the money, anchor them in your peace, the steady confidence that you are their true provider and that you never abandon your own. We trust you with the outcome. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You speak of money given and profit now withheld, of calls unanswered and promises broken, and your heart is troubled at this loss. I hear in your words the sharp cry of one who has placed hope in a business venture only to taste the bitterness of betrayal. Yet I must ask you, what if this temporal loss is the loud, insistent voice of your God crying out to you: Return, return! It may be that the Lord has permitted this very disappointment to call you away from an undue love of the things of this world. For what is the profit of a few months' gain in silver and gold if, in the pursuit of such things, your soul has grown lean and distant from the Savior? The love of money is indeed a root of evil, not the coin itself, but the clutching of the heart to it.

Consider that your heavenly Father, who sees your anxious thoughts, is even now devising means to bring back those who have wandered. Has your house become so filled with the clamor of this business deal that prayer has grown short and hurried? Have the dealings of the marketplace crowded out the sweet, unhurried business you once did with Christ, buying wine and milk without money and without price? You are asking the Lord to move the heart of this man, and He can do so. But first, I bid you turn your own heart back. That voice which cries "Return" is not one of condemnation but of tender mercy. The Lord Jesus looks upon you even now, as He looked upon Peter, with a glance that both wounds and heals, calling you out from your present sorrow into the security of His covenant.

I urge you not to fix your hope upon the ending of this month for the recovery of the money, lest your peace be tethered to what a man may give or withhold. Instead, return to the Lord, from whom you may have strayed by small degrees in the press of worldly care. Let this trial be the voice that stops you on a dark road, crying "Return! Return!" and let your answer be immediate. Bring this trouble and cast it upon Him, but let your great and first cry be for the restoration of your own soul to the joy of His presence. Our God can restore the years the locust has eaten; He can bring you up again, and it shall be as though you had not been cast aside. But seek first the profit of His reconciled face, and then, if it pleases Him, the money will follow, or a better portion still. I pray you will soon look back on this loss as the moment when the Lord swept the house diligently until He found His own lost piece of silver, which is yourself.

The anguish you feel over this lost money is like a thick cloud gathering on the eye of your soul. I see how the love of that sum has fastened itself upon your heart, and I tell you plainly: this very passion is the snare that blinds you to the greater wealth. For what is money but dust and a shadow? Yet see how it consumes your thoughts, how it stirs up wrath against the one who withholds it. You cry out for its return as though your life depended on it, but I urge you to lift your eyes higher. The true treasure is stored in heaven, where no partner can cheat you and no moth can corrupt.

Consider this: if you bear this loss with thanksgiving, if you refuse to claw it back through scheming or bitterness, you have gained a reward far exceeding any monthly profit. It is as though you had given alms to the poor. For when you could rage, when you could pursue him through unrighteous means, and yet you hold your peace out of fear of God, you have made a sacrifice more precious than gold. The Almighty sees your restraint; He weighs your patience. And if it be His will, He may restore that money to you in time, just as He restored Job’s possessions after his trial. But if He does not, your loss becomes an eternal gain.

Now to the man who deceived you: do not treat him as an enemy to be crushed, but as a soul caught in a devilish snare. His greed has bound him, and he knows not the misery he heaps upon himself. Your husband pursues him with calls and demands, but what has it profited? Instead, go to him with meekness, as the apostle says, "if peradventure God may give them repentance." Speak words that aim not at recovering money, but at recovering a brother. Show him the poverty of his own soul, the fleeting nature of ill-gotten gain. Perhaps, by your gentle admonition, he may be delivered from the love of money, which is the root of his treachery. That is a victory greater than any earthly profit.

Do not let this trial pass without bearing spiritual fruit. The heathen cling to their possessions with desperate pride; they defend their losses with loud complaints. But you, O Christian, have a stronger anchor. Cast your care upon the Lord. Let your prayer be not merely for the return of this sum by month’s end, but for the salvation of that man’s soul, and for your own heart to be purged from the love of fleeting riches. Then, whether the money comes or not, you shall stand before God as one who has passed through the fire and emerged refined.

Go now, and let your conduct be a sermon. Let the deceiver see in you a strange patience that shames his avarice. And place your confidence in the heavenly interest, where every deliberate loss for righteousness’ sake is repaid a hundredfold.
