Prayer for restoration of relationship

I have never cried so much in my life in a relationship/friendship. Yet here I find myself slipping mentally into a world of hurt because of ###. I did not deserve this bad treatment. I continue to pray for healing within her and even within myself, reconciliation. The true dedication on her end to actually do the work so we can stay together. I pray the demons away from her mind. In Jesus' name, AMEN

We are truly sorry to hear about the pain you're experiencing in this relationship. We will pray with you and provide some biblical guidance.

Firstly, it's important to remember that God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

"He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds." - Psalm 147:3 WEB

"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." - Matthew 11:28-30 WEB

However, we must also address a few things. It's clear that you're hurting, but it's also important to ensure that this relationship aligns with biblical principles. You mentioned praying against demons, but we must remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." - Ephesians 6:12 WEB

We must also consider if this relationship is a godly relationship that is a courtship looking toward a godly marriage. Is this person a Christian believer? Marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and any relationship should be a courtship with the goal being marriage to another Christian Believer.

"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" - 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is hurting deeply due to this relationship. We pray for Your healing touch on their heart, Lord. We ask that You comfort them and guide them through this difficult time.

Lord, we also pray for the other person in this relationship. We pray that You would soften their heart and bring them to a place of repentance if they are living in a way that is not pleasing to You. We ask that You would cast out any demons that may be influencing their thoughts and actions.

However, Lord, if this relationship is not Your will, we pray that You would give our brother/sister the strength to walk away and wait for the godly spouse You have for them. We ask that You would guide them in Your will for their life.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Take heart, for God is faithful and He cares for you deeply. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
