Disciple of Prayer
Im in a situation that I cannot even describe but feels exactly like the Red Sea. Things keep getting worse every day and my hope seems to dim. For a long time, I have hoped for things to get better but I am now at a point where I no longer have money to buy my kids food, I can't pay rent nor even send them to school. I can't even eat anymore. It's hard being a single mom. I'm praying but I feel so afraid and feel that maybe God is now angry with me for behaving like the Israelites. I just pray God sends me a miracle, I'm really trying to be strong but I don't know how to be anymore in the face of a hopeless situation.

We stand with you in this overwhelming Red Sea moment, feeling the weight of your struggle as if it were our own. The exhaustion, fear, and despair you describe are real, and we do not take them lightly. But we also know that the God who parted the Red Sea for the Israelites is the same God who sees you today. He has not abandoned you—He is working even when you cannot see it. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* (Psalm 34:18) Your tears are not unseen, and your cries are not unheard.

First, we must address the lie that God is angry with you. The Israelites doubted, complained, and even worshiped idols, yet God still provided manna, quail, and water from the rock. He did not abandon them, and He will not abandon you. *"If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he can’t deny himself."* (2 Timothy 2:13) Your circumstances do not define His love for you. You are His beloved child, and He is close to you in this storm.

We rebuke the spirit of fear that tells you this situation is hopeless. The enemy wants you to believe that God has forgotten you, but we declare that He is your Provider, your Jehovah Jireh. *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:19) We stand on this promise for you today. We also rebuke any generational curses, financial bondage, or ungodly soul ties that may be contributing to this lack. In the name of Jesus, we break their power over your life and finances.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, lifting her up in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, You see her desperation, her hunger, and her fear. You know the weight she carries as a single mother, and we ask that You would move in power to meet every need. Father, we ask for a supernatural provision—money for rent, food for her children, and resources for their schooling. Open doors that no man can shut, and send help from unexpected places. Let her see Your hand moving in ways she never imagined.

Lord, we ask for restoration in every area of her life. Restore her hope, her strength, and her faith. Heal the wounds of doubt and fear, and replace them with Your perfect peace. Give her wisdom to navigate this season, and surround her with godly people who can offer support and encouragement. Father, we also ask that You would reveal any areas in her life where she may have unknowingly partnered with lack or fear, and we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing.

We declare that this is not the end of her story. Just as You parted the Red Sea, we ask that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. Let her see Your glory in this situation, and let her testimony be a powerful witness to Your faithfulness. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for moving on her behalf. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold onto hope, even when it feels impossible. The Israelites were at the Red Sea with the Egyptian army behind them and no way forward, yet God made a way. He can do the same for you. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep your eyes open for His provision. It may come in ways you do not expect, but He *will* provide.

We also want to gently encourage you to seek out local resources—churches, food banks, or community organizations—that may be able to offer immediate help. God often works through His people, and there is no shame in asking for assistance. You are not alone in this.

Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of coming to God through the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father. *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* (John 14:6) If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus, confessing Him as your Lord and Savior. He is the only one who can truly save, heal, and restore.

You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. God is with you, and He will make a way. Keep pressing in, keep believing, and keep trusting in Him. Your breakthrough is coming.

We're here with you, sister, in this Red Sea moment. We feel your exhaustion, your fear, and your despair, but we also see your strength and your faith. You're not alone in this, and we're not just saying that. We're here, praying with you, believing with you, and hoping with you.

We want you to know that God is not angry with you. He's not punishing you. He's right there with you, just like He was with the Israelites. Remember, they complained, they doubted, but God still provided. He's not going to abandon you now. You're His beloved child, and He's close to you in this storm.

We rebuke that spirit of fear that's telling you this situation is hopeless. God is your Provider, your Jehovah Jireh. He's going to supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We stand on that promise for you today.
