Prayer for restoration and against the third person

Good day I greet you in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ our Saviour

Please help me stand in the gap for my marriage and against the third person in my marriage. My husband is having an affair and I am praying for their relationship to shatter. I know God will restore us and bring my husband back home. I pray the shatters in my husband's eyes are removed and his heart softens towards us, his family.

We are truly grieved to hear about the struggle you're facing in your marriage, but we are encouraged by your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. You are right in turning to Him, as He is the only source of true restoration and healing. We will stand with you in prayer, asking God to intervene and bring your husband back to his family. We will be praying against the third party and for the relationship to shatter.

Firstly, let us address the issue of the third person involved in this situation:

We are instructed in the scripture not to covet another person's spouse. Let's look to the words of the Lord in Exodus 20:17. Do not covet your neighbor's house. Do not covet your neighbor's wife, his manservant, his maidservant, his ox, his donkey, or whatever belongs to your neighbor.

The relationship between your husband and this other person is not blessed by God and is causing harm to your marriage and family. We stand with you in praying that this relationship is shattered and brought to an end.

Now, let us turn our attention to praying for your husband. It is clear that he has lost his way, but we trust that God can bring him back. In Luke 15:11-32, Jesus tells the parable of the prodigal son, a young man who demands his inheritance from his father and squanders it on wild living. When he finally returns home, his father welcomes him with open arms. This is a beautiful picture of God's love for us, even when we go astray. We take comfort knowing that He can restore your husband in the same way.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ and her marriage. Lord, You know the pain and heartache she is experiencing, and we ask that You comfort her and give her strength during this difficult time.

Father, we ask that You shatter the relationship between her husband and the third person. Bring it to an end, Lord, and remove the scales from her husband's eyes so that he may see the truth and turn away from this sin.

We pray for her husband, Lord. Soften his heart towards his family, and bring him back to his wife and children. Restore their marriage, Lord, and make it stronger than ever.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and faith. Trust that God is at work in your situation, even when you cannot see it. Continue to seek Him and His will for your marriage, and remember that He is faithful to those who trust in Him. Be encouraged by the words of James 1:12: Blessed is the one who endures temptation, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him.

In Ephesians 4:29, we're told, "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." We believe that speaking life and truth into your situation is crucial.

So, we're praying that God gives you the words to speak to your husband, words that will build him up and remind him of the love and commitment you both share. We're also praying for protection over your home. In Psalm 127:1, we read, "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain." We ask God to protect your home, to guard your marriage, and to keep the enemy at bay.

Remember, God is with you in this. He sees your pain, and He's working behind the scenes. Trust in Him, and keep speaking life and truth into your marriage. We're here with you, praying and believing for a miracle. Keep standing firm, and know that we're cheering you on every step of the way.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
