Prayer for Resources to Re-establish My Life in ###

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray for me. After more than four years of loneliness, rejection, and lack - compounded by childhood wounds, C-PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and OCD - I find myself unemployed, financially depleted, and cut off from the community in ### where I was known, accepted, and loved. Decisions I made in good faith, based on a counterfeit "Word of Faith" prophetic ministry, have cost me everything and I've been left unable to trust God, others, or myself. Prayer itself has become traumatizing - a source of grief rather than comfort. Moreover, I'm under the control of an emotionally abusive father. As such, please pray on my behalf that God would provide the resources for me to return to ###, rebuild my life within that community, and be restored spiritually, vocationally, financially, and emotionally. That He would free me from an abusive father, a constant state of mental and emotional paralysis, heal what has been crushed in me, and make me a beacon of His compassion as a one-day husband, father, provider, neighbor, and friend. Pray, too, that He would meet me in the silence and restore my ability to trust Him. Please don't dispense unsolicited advice. Please don't use my despair as an opportunity to write long-winded theological treatises. This is a desperate plea for healing and restoration. Thank you and God Bless you for your prayers.

We hear your cry, dear brother, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with deep compassion. The weight you carry is heavy, years of loneliness, rejection, betrayal, and the crushing burden of mental and emotional struggles. You have walked through fire, and we stand with you now, interceding in Jesus’ name for the restoration only He can bring.

Father God, we come before You as Your children, broken and in need of Your healing touch. We ask that You would meet our brother in the silence, where words fail and only Your presence can speak. Restore his trust in You, Lord, for You are faithful even when we are not. You see the wounds of his heart, the childhood pain, the betrayal by false teaching, the abuse he endures, and the paralysis that grips his mind and spirit. We declare Your healing over him, in the name of Jesus, who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4-5).

Lord, we ask for practical provision, resources to return to the community where he once knew acceptance and love. Open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Break the chains of financial depletion and unemployment, and lead him to work that honors You and sustains him. Free him from the control of an emotionally abusive father, Lord. You are the Father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5), and we ask that You would be his refuge and strength. Surround him with godly men who can speak truth and encouragement into his life.

We rebuke the lies that have taken root in his heart, that he is unworthy, that You have abandoned him, or that prayer is a source of trauma rather than comfort. Your Word says that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that healing over him now. Restore his ability to trust You, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also lift up his desire to one day be a husband, father, provider, and friend. Lord, prepare him for the godly marriage You have for him. Heal the wounds that may hinder his ability to love and be loved, and let him become a beacon of Your compassion to others. Teach him to wait on You, for Your timing is perfect, and Your plans for him are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11).

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We trust in Your power to restore, redeem, and renew. Strengthen our brother’s faith, even in the silence, and let him feel Your presence like never before. May he rise from this place of despair, not by his own strength, but by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

We stand with him, believing that You are working even when he cannot see it. Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and mercy. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for trusting us with so much of your story. We hear how heavy these past four years have been, the loneliness and loss, the weight of childhood wounds and the exhaustion of living under an emotionally abusive father, plus being unemployed and cut off from the community in ### where you felt known and loved. It makes sense that trust feels crushed right now, even trust in prayer itself, and that you feel mentally and emotionally paralyzed after decisions you made in good faith cost you so much.

We are not going to add advice or try to explain it all. We want to stand with you in prayer for the very things you named most urgently, a safe way forward, provision to reestablish your life, healing for what has been crushed, and a quiet restoration of your ability to trust God again.

Alongside prayer, if you are able, it can be a steady next step to talk with a safe person face to face, a trusted pastor, counselor or medical professional, who can walk with you over time about both safety at home and the depression, anxiety and trauma symptoms you described. You deserve ongoing support, not just a single prayer.

Father, we lift our brother to You in Jesus name. You see his need for safety, for resources, for work and community and for healing in his mind and heart. Meet him in the silence where words have failed, gently free him from control and fear, and lead him step by step toward restoration. Give him wise and kind helpers nearby and renew his hope for the future You have for him as a neighbor and friend. Amen.

Your cry has been heard, and we will bear it before the Lord on your behalf, even as prayer itself feels heavy to you now.

We do not make light of the loneliness, rejection and lack of these four years, nor of the wounds carried from childhood, nor the crushing weight of depression, anxiety and the paralysis you describe, nor the pain of decisions made in good faith under a counterfeit word that has cost you so much, nor the trial of living under an unkind hand. The Lord sees the broken heart and knows how to heal it, for He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His leaves are for the healing of the nations, and pardon and healing are one in His hand.

We will pray that our Lord Jesus Christ Himself would meet you in the silence where words now fail, and restore your ability to trust Him. You are not asked to trust your feelings, but to trust Him. Trust Him as you sink and you shall swim. Trust Him as you feel yourself dying and you shall live. They that trust in Him shall not be ashamed nor confounded. May He show you that He is able to save all who trust Him, and that as you go at His word, healing shall come.

We ask the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ alone who is our only salvation, to provide the resources you need to be free from oppression, to return to the community where you were known and loved, and to rebuild your life there. We ask Him to restore you spiritually, vocationally, financially and emotionally, to heal what has been crushed in you, to lift the constant mental and emotional paralysis, and to bring you out of this depleted and unemployed state into a place of provision and useful labor. We ask Him to keep you and to make a way of deliverance according to His wisdom and mercy.

We pray also for that future hope you hold before Him, that He would in His time and grace prepare you and make you a faithful husband, father, provider, neighbor and friend, a beacon of His compassion, walking in the lifelong covenant of marriage as He ordained. And as Peter was down but was soon up again by the look and prayer of Christ, who prayed for him that his faith fail not, so we pray that the Lord who has prayed for you will lift you and restore you, and that you will know again His pardon and His healing together.

We will continue to pray for you, that the Sun of Righteousness may rise upon you with healing in His wings, and that you may know His love and peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been heard and we have brought it before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ alone, who is our only Savior and hope.

We pray for you with compassion for the long years of loneliness, rejection and lack you have carried, and for the deep wounds from childhood, and the heavy burden of depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD and trauma. We ask the Lord who sees all you have suffered, including the harm done through a counterfeit prophetic ministry and the pain that has made even prayer feel like grief, to have mercy on you and to meet you in the silence where words have failed.

We ask that God, according to His perfect wisdom and love, would provide for your needs and open a way for you to be restored spiritually, emotionally, vocationally and financially. If it is His will, we pray He would provide the resources for you to return to the community where you were known and loved, and to rebuild your life there in a healthy and stable way. We pray He would give you meaningful work, daily provision, and a place of belonging and peace.

We pray for your freedom and protection under the control of an emotionally abusive father. We ask the Lord to make a way for safety, for clear boundaries, and for deliverance from that oppression, and to heal what has been crushed within you after years of being under that power. We ask Him to lift the mental and emotional paralysis you describe and to bring healing to your mind and heart by His gentle hand.

We pray that the Lord would restore your ability to trust Him, not through empty promises, but through the true knowledge of His Son who suffered to make us sons and daughters of God. We ask that He would slowly and kindly rebuild trust in Him, in others and in yourself, and that He would be near to you even when you cannot feel Him.

We also bring before Him the desire you expressed to one day be a husband, father, provider, neighbor and friend who reflects His compassion. We pray that He would prepare you for that calling in His time, within His good design for lifelong marriage between one man and one woman, and that He would make your life a witness to His grace.

We continue to hold you in prayer, asking for healing, restoration and hope in Christ. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly and for allowing prayer to be offered on your behalf. Your pain is heard, and the weight of these years of loneliness, rejection, financial loss, wounds from childhood, the struggle with trauma and with depression, anxiety and other afflictions, the hurt that came through a false prophetic word, and the difficulty of living under an emotionally abusive father is not overlooked by God.

I am praying for you, asking God to provide what you need to be reestablished in the community where you were known and loved, and to bring restoration in every area you mentioned, spiritually, vocationally, financially and emotionally. I am asking Him to make a way for freedom from that abusive control, to lift the paralysis that has settled over your mind and heart, and to heal what has been crushed within you.

Scripture shows that God never takes a day off from caring for His people. Jesus said that His Father is always working and that He works together with His Father. That means even when life feels silent and prayer itself feels painful, God has not forgotten you. The Bible says God remembered Noah in the ark, not because He had forgotten him, but to show that even in long days of waiting and confusion He keeps His people in mind. He is still working, even now, to bring life where there has been death and to do what only He can do.

Jesus also spoke to troubled hearts and said to trust in God and to trust in Him. He came to show us exactly what the Father is like, and He said that the Father Himself loves those who love and believe in His Son. You do not have to earn access to the Father through perfect prayers. Because you have put your trust in Jesus, the Father loves you and welcomes you to come to Him directly, even in silence, even with few words, even with grief.

God is in control even when things feel in complete disarray. He has a purpose and a plan that we may not see for a long time, but we can ask Him for His peace when evil tidings come, trusting that He can turn what was meant for harm into good. Your trust in Him, especially in these dark and questioning places, is precious to Him.

So I pray that God would meet you in the silence where prayer has become hard, that He would gently restore your ability to trust Him, and also to trust others and to trust the person He is making you to be. I pray He would provide the practical resources for you to return and rebuild, that He would heal the wounds of trauma and calm the turmoil within, and that He would shape you into the man you long to be, a faithful husband, father, provider, neighbor and friend who reflects His compassion to others.

May the Lord who sees you and loves you guard your heart, supply your needs according to His wisdom, and give you hope again as you look to Jesus, who is the way, the truth and the life, and who lives to bring you into fellowship with the Father.
