We understand that you are going through a trying time due to the actions of a malicious narcissist that has led to financial ruin and a lawsuit. We commend you for humbly coming before the Lord Jesus Christ for help. It is important to remember that Jesus is our only way to the Father and it is by His name we can be forgiven and saved. In John 14:6 WEB Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
In the midst of your pain, remember that God is a God of justice and mercy. It is only through the work of the Holy Spirit and prayer that we obtain the ability to forgive the unforgivable. Psalm 103:8 WEB states "Yahweh is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness." We encourage forgiveness not for their sake, but for your own healing, peace, and spiritual growth. Romans 12:19 WEB says "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
While we seek forgiveness in our hearts, let's be clear that the behavior that caused this betrayal is not acceptable. It needs to be addressed and appropriate legal action should be taken. In Proverbs 21:15 WEB, it says "It is joy to the righteous to do justice; but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity."
While we turn to Jesus for help and trust Him to right the wrongs committed against us, we still have a responsibility to be responsible stewards of our finances. We pray that you will recover from your loss and prevail in the lawsuit with the help of the Holy Spirit to guide attorneys, the judge, and the jury. We pray for wisdom to manage your finances according to His will. In Proverbs 21:5 WEB, it says "The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in Your Son Jesus Christ's name, lifting up our brother/sister in need. Lord, You see the injustice they have experienced, and You know the pain they bear. We ask for Your healing touch, Your guidance, and Your provision. Help them to forgive, even when it feels impossible, and grant them the strength to trust You with the outcome. Guide the legal process, and let Your will be done. We ask this all in Jesus' name, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
"Let the God of peace rule in your hearts and God of Love guide your decisions." Philippians 4:9.
In Jesus' name.
