Prayer for relationship

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I come to you and ask for your help and guidance in my relationship. I ask that you give us your wisdom to help us overcome this season in our life. I ask that you help each of us heal from the trauma and pain in our lives and the pain we have caused each other over the years. Father I ask that you help us reconcile our relationship. I know we have the power to rebuild what we have stronger and better than before but we need your help. We cannot do it alone. Please help us in rebuilding what we have and repairing our foundation. I ask that you please take away any person or any thing from the enemy that are against us right now. I know it won’t be easy but our story is worth fighting for. I know We will fail sometimes but we will also rise above. I also know we can’t do it alone. I know that all things are possible through you and I need a miracle now more than ever. I ask you to please help us in this. I ask that you teach us to love better like Christ loves, heal what has been wounded and restore the love, joy, friendship, and laughter. Protect us from every attack that’s trying to divide us. Remove anything in our lives right now that is hindering our relationship with each other and with you. I ask that you help heal ###'s heart and take away his worries and whatever is stressing him. Save him. Hold the weight of the things he carries and doesn’t talk about. Give him strength with Mercy. Help us remember why we fell in love in the first place and help us rebuild stronger than ever. Please help us. In Jesus name, Amen.

We hear your heartfelt cry for restoration and healing in your relationship, and we join you in bringing this before our Heavenly Father. First, we must acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and the power to overcome. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If either of you has not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so, for salvation is found in no other name (Acts 4:12).

Father God, we come before You, recognizing that You are the ultimate healer and restorer. We lift up this relationship to You, asking that You would indeed grant wisdom, healing, and reconciliation. Your Word tells us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Lord, we ask that You pour out Your wisdom upon them, guiding their steps and decisions as they seek to rebuild what has been broken.

We also recognize, Father, that relationships can only thrive when they are built on the foundation of Your Word. In Ephesians 5:25, husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church, and wives are called to respect their husbands (Ephesians 5:33). If this relationship is not a marriage, we must rebuke the sin of fornication and urge repentance. Your Word is clear in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." If this is a courtship, we encourage both individuals to honor You by pursuing purity and keeping the goal of marriage in sight, as marriage is the only God-ordained context for sexual intimacy.

Lord, we ask that You heal the wounds and traumas that have been inflicted, both from past experiences and from the pain they have caused one another. Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We pray that You would bind up their wounds and restore their hearts, teaching them to love as Christ loves—selflessly, sacrificially, and unconditionally.

We also rebuke any influence of the enemy that seeks to divide them. Your Word warns us in 1 Peter 5:8, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." Father, we ask that You break every chain of division, strife, and misunderstanding. Remove anything in their lives that hinders their relationship with You and with one another. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven them (Colossians 3:13) and to extend grace to one another as You have extended grace to them.

We lift up ### specifically, asking that You would heal his heart and take away his burdens. Your Word promises in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." Lord, we ask that You give him rest, strength, and peace. Help him to cast his cares upon You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). Surround him with Your mercy and fill him with Your strength.

Father, we pray that You would help them remember why they fell in love in the first place. Remind them of the joy, friendship, and laughter that once filled their relationship. Help them to rebuild on the foundation of Your love, so that their relationship may be stronger than ever. Ecclesiastes 4:12 tells us, "A triple-braided cord is not quickly broken." Lord, we ask that You would be the third strand in their relationship, binding them together in love and unity.

We declare that with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). We believe that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Lord, we ask that You would perform a miracle in their relationship, restoring what has been broken and making it new. Help them to walk in Your ways, honoring You in all they do.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, standing in faith for your relationship. We've been praying, and we want to encourage you with these words from Zephaniah 3:17, "The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing." God sees you, He's with you, and He delights in you. Trust in His love, and trust in His power to heal and restore.

We're praying that God will fill you both with His love, a love that's patient, kind, and never gives up (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). We're asking Him to help you see each other through His eyes, to forgive as He forgives, and to love as He loves. We're believing for a miracle, for a fresh start, and for a relationship that's stronger than ever before.

Keep holding on, keep trusting, and keep praying. We're right there with you, praying in Jesus' name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over your relationship. It has been our heart’s joy to lift your request before the Father, asking Him to pour out wisdom, healing, and restoration in every wounded place. We have prayed that He would remove every obstacle, every influence of the enemy, and every weight that has tried to divide what He has joined together.

As the days pass, we encourage you to keep pressing into His presence. If you have seen His hand move—if healing has begun, if reconciliation has taken root, or if His peace has settled over your hearts—we would be so blessed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a light to others walking a similar path.

If, however, the answer hasn’t yet come in the way you hoped, we invite you to post your request again. We are still here, still standing in agreement with you, still believing for the miracle you need. This battle is not yours alone; we will continue to pray for breakthrough, for renewed love, for Christ-like patience, and for the strength to rise above every setback.

May the Lord bless you both with His grace as you seek Him together. May He teach you to love as He loves, to forgive as He forgives, and to build on the foundation of His truth. May He protect your hearts from discouragement and fill you with hope as you wait on Him. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
