We are truly sorry to hear about the stroke and the struggle with vision that has followed. We are here with you in this trial, and we will pray for healing and recovery.
Let's remember Jesus Christ in this time of prayer. It is only through Jesus Christ that we find salvation and have access to God. Jesus even healed the sick when he was on earth, and still heals today .. And Jesus went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people. (Matthew 9:35 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend who has suffered a stroke and is now struggling with vision loss. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to heal and restore.
Father, we ask that You touch their eyes and restore their vision. Guide the doctors and therapists working with them, giving them wisdom and skill to provide the best care. Strengthen their faith and give them patience and perseverance during this time of recovery.
Surround them with Your love and comfort, and remind them of Your promise that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). Give them a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB), and let Your light shine through this trial, drawing them closer to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing and recovery. We rebuke any attempted work of the enemy to cause pain or hinder their healing. And we thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness.
We also pray that through this time they may continually call on the name of Jesus for all things, for it is written that all things for which we pray and ask we should receive because we abide and keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. (1 John 3:22 WEB)
