Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, use me in public health for career growth, with self-care in all areas of my life. Equip me with skills, knowledge, and the wisdom of Your Spirit. Help me add value in academics, graphic design, communities, and nations. “For I know the plans I have for you” (Jeremiah 29:11). In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We hear your heart’s cry for purpose, growth, and service, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s will for your life. It is beautiful to see your desire to be used in public health, academics, and creative fields like graphic design, all for His glory. The verse you shared from Jeremiah 29:11 is a powerful reminder that God indeed has plans for you, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. But let us also remember that these plans are fulfilled as we walk in obedience to Him, seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33).

Father, we come before You together, lifting up this dear one who longs to serve You with excellence. We ask that You would equip them with the skills, knowledge, and wisdom they need to thrive in their career and calling. May they grow not only in professional competence but also in spiritual maturity, rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:17-19). We pray for balance in their life, self-care that honors You, for even as we labor for Your kingdom, we must not neglect the temple of the Holy Spirit, which is our body (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Help them to rest in You, to cast their anxieties on You, and to find strength in Your presence (Psalm 46:10).

Lord, we ask that You would open doors for them to add value in their communities and even among the nations. May their work in public health be a testimony to Your healing and restoration, and may their creativity in graphic design reflect the beauty and order of Your creation. Let everything they do be done as unto You, not unto men (Colossians 3:23). We pray that You would use them to draw others to Yourself, that many would come to know the hope found only in Jesus Christ.

We also want to encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith, even when the path is unclear. Growth often comes through trials, and service often requires sacrifice. But remember, God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or distraction that would seek to hinder this one’s purpose. We declare that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have prepared good works in advance for them to walk in (Ephesians 2:10). May they walk in the fullness of Your calling, with boldness and humility, always pointing others to You.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). May His grace, peace, and power be with you as you seek to live a life that honors Him. Amen.

We love the heart behind this prayer, you’re not just asking for a career boost; you’re asking to be shaped into someone who brings lasting good to the communities and nations you touch. That desire to add value in public health, academics, and even graphic design (a creative skill God can absolutely use) tells us you’re thinking like a steward, not just a striver.

One thing we often see is that growth and purpose don’t always arrive as a single clear promotion or a moment of breakthrough recognition. They more often come disguised as the small daily willingness to learn something new, to serve a classmate or colleague without fanfare, and to keep showing up when the work feels hidden. Your prayer for “self-care in all areas” is wise, not because you should pamper yourself, but because burning out helps no one, and tending to your own soul and body positions you to serve sustainably over the years ahead.

What could it look like this week to quietly, deliberately offer one concrete skill or project back to God? Not as pressure to perform, but as an act of worship. Maybe it’s a graphic design piece done with excellence, or a research task approached with genuine curiosity for the people it will one day help. Small surrendered steps often unlock the larger doors we’ve been praying about.

We want to pray with you toward that:

Father, thank you for giving our friend such a practical and expansive vision for serving others. We ask that you equip them with the skills and knowledge they truly need, and grant them the wisdom to see their daily work as holy, not just a stepping stone. Help them rest well and care for themselves in the rhythm you set. In their academics, design, and public health efforts, let them be a refreshing presence that quietly points to you. We trust you with their future and with the nations they long to bless. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

You plead for purpose, growth, and service, and you fasten your hope upon that blessed word, “I know the plans I have for you.” That is well, for the Lord’s plans stand like the great mountains, they are not shifted by the fretting of man. Yet pause and search your heart, lest you turn this promise into a soft pillow for ambition. Many a soul has mistaken a restless desire for public usefulness as the voice of God, when in truth it was the clamour of self. The keeper of vineyards too easily neglects his own. You ask for career growth and skill in many fields, but I charge you: give no quarter to self-reliance. A grain of divine grace is worth more than a ton of knowledge. If the Lord enables you, it will be that He alone receives the praise, and you will say, “Look not upon me, for I am black.” All true service springs from a heart that has first been broken at the cross and remade by the Spirit. Your graphic design and your public health will be mere dead leaves unless the sap of Christ flows through them.

You also mention self-care, and this is needful, but let it be a care that you cast upon Him. There is a care that is good, and there is a care that corrodes the soul like rust. That blacksmith named Care hammers out unquiet thoughts if you do not bring them to the Lord. Trust God for the morrow. He who delivered your soul from death can certainly order your daily path. But I warn you: do not think that adding value in many places can substitute for the one thing needful. The most diligent service can become a net of self-delusion if it is not born from a living union with Jesus. Divine indwelling requires personal holiness. Are you living as becomes a child of God? His gentleness has drawn you this far; let that same gentleness keep you lowly. Go now, not with the swagger of one who says, “I will build,” but with the trembling of Moses, “If Thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.” He sends no one in their own strength, but He delights to use the weak, the trembling, the praying soul who has learned that the way of wisdom is only known by the illumination of the Holy Ghost.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When you pray for career growth and to add value in academics and graphic design, be careful not to seek the wisdom that God has made foolish. Do you not believe that the cross itself is God’s power and wisdom? Where the world exalts skill and recognition, the Lord calls you to humility and service that does not keep score. The Samaritan on the road did not first inquire about the wounded man’s credentials; he saw affliction and bound up his wounds. That, and not the applause of nations, is the service God equips you for.

Self-care is not soft living or the comforts of the body. Christ went not into palaces but to the house of a fisherman. The rich who live for self-indulgence miss the self-restraint that guards the soul. Care for yourself by keeping your heart close to the needs of others, not by chasing a name for yourself. When you supply what others lack, do it as to the Lord, not counting it as a great thing; even the Apostle called it a mere filling up of a lack, to keep his children humble.

You quote Jeremiah, "I know the plans I have for you," as if God’s plan must match your ambition. But His plans often upend worldly sense: in the fullness of time He rescued us not by a display of power but by what seemed foolishness. If you truly desire the Spirit’s wisdom, then let go of the craving for visible success. Let your public health be a quiet tending of the bruised, your graphic design a tool of mercy, your academic work a training in the fear of God. For where God’s wisdom dwells, there is no more need of man’s. Go and do likewise, and you will find a purpose that outlasts every career.

Your prayer for purpose and growth in the field of public health resonates deeply. You’re asking to be equipped with skills, knowledge, and the wisdom of the Spirit, and that is a request that honors the heart of God. Remember that wisdom is the principal thing. Knowledge will give you the facts, the data, the protocols, but wisdom is the proper application of that knowledge. It is better than rubies, and all the things you may desire, career advancement, influence in communities and nations, cannot be compared to it.

You see, there is a wisdom that the world pursues, a human ingenuity that promises progress. But history shows us that the wisdom of the world, apart from God, comes to nothing. It is earthly and often leads to self-glory. The mind of God's wisdom is different; it is a mind of submission to the Father's purpose, a self-emptying that opens the door to true service. This is not a wisdom you can simply achieve through academics or graphic design alone. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. That reverent, loving awe of who God is must be the starting place for everything else you learn.

When you ask for the wisdom of His Spirit, you are asking for Jesus Christ Himself, for in Him are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. He is the poor wise man who delivers the city, even if the world forgets Him for a season. His wisdom gives life to those who have it. As you add value in your field and practice self-care, do not forsake this pursuit of Him. Love wisdom, cling to her, and she will preserve you.

You mentioned the verse from Jeremiah, that God knows the plans He has for you. Those plans are uncovered not by straining after the next opportunity, but by walking the path of His wisdom. The wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable. It will lead you to a wholeness that frantic self-care cannot replicate.

So, yes, pursue the skills and the knowledge. But above all, get wisdom. With all your getting, get understanding. The same God who gave it freely when it was asked for instead of riches will not withhold it from you. He will equip you not just to serve, but to serve with a largeness of heart that only He can provide.
