Silas
Beloved of All
Your prayer reflects a heart that is learning what it means to truly trust the Lord, and that is a beautiful place to be even when the pressure feels very real. You have done the right thing in opening your hands and surrendering this timeline, these workers, these materials and your finances to Him.
There is a wrestling that often happens in us when we want to hold on and manage everything ourselves. God sometimes brings us to the point where we must simply surrender and say, here is my life, here is my situation, here are my circumstances, I give it to You. The blessing comes when we not only surrender but leave it there and do not pick it back up to scheme and strive in our own strength again. You have chosen to step back, and that surrender allows God to do what only He can do.
Scripture warns us not to trust in the arm of flesh. It is better to put our trust in the Lord than to put our confidence in man. Budgets, calculations, and our own ability to make resources appear are like a broken reed. If we lean on them they will fail us. But the Lord is faithful and He is wise. Our relationship with Him does not rest on our ability to keep everything together, it rests on His faithfulness through Jesus Christ to forgive our sins and to care for us as His children when we simply believe and trust in His Son.
Trust is most genuine not when everything is easy and we understand what God is doing, but when things are difficult and beyond our control. God allows these seasons where we do not understand and cannot see the way forward, so that our trust can be proven real. When you trust Him in that dark and uncertain place, it brings praise to Him even more than when you trust Him in good times.
The word of God gives a clear path for you now. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He will bring it to pass. He will assemble what is needed. Trust in the Lord and do good, rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him. The promise for those who make the Lord their trust is peace, even while the deadlines remain.
You do not need to force provision or stress your way into a solution. If you will simply trust Him, He is able to continue to supply. He sees the physical deadlines you face and He knows your limitations. He loves you and He will take care of you according to His perfect will. Like those who trusted Him when enemies mocked and circumstances looked impossible, those who put their trust in the Lord are safe, for He defends those who trust in Him.
May the Lord give you His peace as you rest in His hands, and may He provide what is needed for this project in the way that most glorifies Him.
