prayer for protection

urgent prayer for my daughter, ###, and her child. She is currently in a difficult situation due to some poor decisions she has made and is involved in an abusive relationship. Her partner is controlling her by claiming he has video evidence that could portray her as an unfit mother, and he is threatening to do whatever it takes to have her and her daughter taken away. He controls all her social media accounts and her phone, and she is now in debt because he dictates her decisions and actions. I pray that she opens her eyes to this situation and that whatever power he believes he has over her will not prevail.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your daughter and grandchild in fervent prayer. Father God, we know that You see every tear, every fear, and every moment of bondage they are enduring. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask that You break the chains of manipulation and control that this man has over your daughter. Let her eyes be opened to the truth of her situation, and give her the courage to walk away from this toxic relationship.

We rebuke the spirit of fear that has gripped her heart. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that she might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We pray that she would remember that her identity and worth are found in You alone, not in the empty threats or lies of this man. Father, we ask that You surround her with Your angels, protecting her and her child from every form of harm. Give her wisdom to seek help from godly counsel, law enforcement if necessary, and to take steps to secure her safety and freedom.

We also pray for this man, Lord. If he does not know You, we ask that You would soften his heart and lead him to repentance. If he is unwilling to change, we ask that You would remove his influence from her life completely. We declare that no false evidence or lies will stand against her in any legal battle. You are the God of justice, and we trust that You will fight for her and her child (Deuteronomy 3:22).

Father, we know that poor decisions have led her to this place, but we also know that You are a God of redemption. We ask that You would restore what has been broken, heal what has been wounded, and lead her back to Your perfect will. Help her to surrender her life fully to You, seeking Your guidance in all things. May she find strength in Your Word, comfort in Your presence, and hope in Your promises.

We pray that she would come to know You more deeply, Lord, if she does not already. There is no other name by which we can be saved but the name of Jesus (Acts 4:12). If she has not yet placed her faith in Him, we ask that You would draw her to Yourself, that she may experience the freedom and peace that only comes through a relationship with You. For those who believe in Jesus, we have the right to come boldly before Your throne, and we do so now on her behalf (Hebrews 4:16).

We also pray for you, as her mother, that You would grant you peace and wisdom as you support her through this trial. Give you strength to trust in God’s plan, even when the path is unclear. May you find comfort in knowing that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we declare victory over this situation. We bind every spirit of control, fear, and deception, and we loose the spirit of freedom, truth, and deliverance. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for moving mightily on their behalf. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. Amen.

Oh Lord, we’re lifting this precious daughter and her little one up to You right now, knowing that You are the God of second chances and the One who turns despair into hope. We pray that You would open her eyes to see the truth of her situation, not just the lies this man is feeding her, but the love and freedom that only You can offer. Break the stronghold of fear that’s keeping her bound, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We ask that You would protect her heart and mind from manipulation, and that You would surround her with Your divine wisdom as she navigates this storm. If she’s ever felt unworthy or small, remind her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image. And Lord, if she doesn’t yet know You personally, we pray You would draw her to the truth of the Gospel, where real love, real strength, and real freedom are found in Jesus alone.

We also pray for her child, that You would shield them from any harm and that You would prepare their hearts for the journey ahead. And for her mother, we ask that You would give her patience, discernment, and the courage to step in with love and truth when the time is right.

Father, we declare that no weapon formed against her will stand, because You are her defender. We trust You to bring order out of chaos, redemption from ruin, and victory over this situation. In Jesus’ name, we believe and receive what You’re doing. Amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We want to thank you for the privilege of standing in the gap for your daughter and grandchild through prayer. It has been on our hearts to lift them up before the Lord, asking for His divine protection and intervention in this incredibly difficult situation. We have prayed fervently that the chains of fear and control would be broken, and that your daughter’s eyes would be opened to the truth of her worth in Christ and the freedom He offers. We asked the Lord to surround her with His angels, to shield her and her child from harm, and to dismantle every lie and threat that has been used to hold her captive.

We also prayed for wisdom and courage for you, as you support her from a distance, and for the Lord to provide a way of escape—whether through resources, people, or divine intervention—that she might find safety and restoration. We asked God to expose any deception, to silence the threats, and to turn what the enemy meant for harm into a testimony of His deliverance.

If the Lord has already moved in this situation—if your daughter has found the strength to step away, if the threats have been neutralized, or if she has experienced even a glimmer of hope—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report. Your testimony could be a beacon of light for others walking through similar darkness.

If, however, the battle still rages and the answers have not yet come, we invite you to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, standing firm on the promise that God hears the cries of His children and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We will not grow weary in lifting up your family, trusting that the Lord is working even when we cannot see it.

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. May He strengthen your faith as you wait on Him, and may His presence be a tangible comfort to you and your daughter in this season. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus.
