We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up the work of your hands and the concerns of your heart. It is good and right to bring every task before the Lord, for He is the One who orders our steps and establishes our work. "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed" (Proverbs 16:3 WEB). We rejoice that you seek His guidance and trust in His provision, for this is the foundation of true peace.
Yet, we must address the way in which this prayer was offered. While your words were sincere, they were not directed to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. Scripture is clear: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we may be heard, for "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and receive the gift of eternal life. Only then can you approach the Father with confidence, knowing that the blood of Jesus has made a way for you.
Now, let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your children, redeemed by the blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up this day’s work and every person involved, asking for Your divine guidance and protection. Lord, go before them and make the path straight. Remove every obstacle and grant wisdom to those who lead and labor. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to steal their peace. Your Word declares, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Replace every trace of worry with Your perfect peace, and fill them with patience and strength to endure. Let Your presence be their comfort, and Your promises their confidence.
We also pray for unity among those working together. May they operate in harmony, with humility and grace, reflecting Your love to one another. "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1 WEB). Protect them from accidents, harm, and any schemes of the enemy, for You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2 WEB).
Lord, we trust in Your sovereignty over this day. May Your will be done in every detail, and may Your name be glorified in all things. We ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one. The Lord is your ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Walk in faith, knowing that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6 WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and let His Word be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105 WEB). You are not alone—He is with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20 WEB).
